Finally got to stay at the Jefferson! I was not disappointed. I wish there a few more casual food options and the in-room pizza was barely edible, but in all, it’s a fantastic property.

A true grande dame hotel. Architecturally important. Large rooms. Old world atmosphere. Housekeeping excellent. Staff attentive. Room service breakfast on time and superb. The exterior window caulking is falling off. The rooms could use a refresh. The hotel needs some TLC. All in all a delightful experience.

This is the prime example of a grand hotel, Richmond style. The service is what you would expect from a five star hotel: impeccable. We especially appreciated the concierge, who took care of us when we had forgotten certain toiletry items and when shirts had to be laundered quickly. Breakfast and dinner were marvelous, although one of the hostesses could have been a bit more accommodating and friendly. Rooms and bathrooms were large and well appointed. Anyone contemplating a visit to Richmond should stay at The Jefferson. You will be glad you did.

Pricey but worth it. Excellent service, staff, in room dining and restaurant dining. Double queen room was large and well-appointed. No view, but great room darkening shades.
