Great family friendly place to stay in richland close to great food and shopping. The riverfront walk way is absolutely gorgeous. Staff was so nice and friendly. Definetly would recomend staying here to anyone.

Staff were really wonderful. I gave a lower rating because the bathroom toilet is really loud when you flush it, power outlet in our bathroom didn’t work, pool area was always messy. Towels and pool toys left all over and then it rained and one of the umbrellas tipped over. It seemed dangerous to have the umbrellas up when it’s windy because they’re heavy and could injure someone should they collapse when guests are nearby. There was also a scary man in a hoody wearing a backpack following us to the point that my two daughters and I were running to our room terrified. There are access areas around the pool that aren’t well lit where predators can hide. Otherwise the property offers a gaming room, great continental breakfast, bikes to ride along the riverfront, a nice seating in the lobby and a family friendly pool.

It was convenient, clean. I had a 3 night stay. Maid service was minimal. Did not refill coffee, replace coffee cups. Dirty towels were not removed nor replaced. When I called the front desk he was indifferent.

No hot water in the shower . Door to the bathroom don’t slide and looked like it was made from left over parts and put together in that’s good enough with screws sticking out in places you wouldn’t notice and the TP holder wasn’t anchored and spun around and yo tried to use it. The did have bikes to rent and a nice outdoor pool.

The Richland Riverfront hotel is located right on the wonderful river walk park and trail on the Columbia River in Richland. We walked on the river walk enjoying the peaceful river sc me. We even saw cute baby geese! People we spoke to were froendly. The hotel has been upgraded from its mid-century roots, but still exhibits some wear and tear. The area is quiet, safe and attractive. The staff were universally helpful and friendly.

Garbage was stacked up in piles in several areas Check in was very slow. It was very noisy at night. The walls are paper thin, and there are gaps around the door, where you can see daylight. Around 4am in the morning, it sounded like someone was moving furniture or something very loud every few minutes, for a couple of hours. You can also hear the freeway and drag racing. I tried to get a refund or some kind of discount from someone at the front desk, but they refused. And offered no apology. It's clear that the lobby had been recently remodeled, but not anywhere else. Walkways need to be pressure washed, and repaved. Won't be staying here again.

The room next to me had seven dogs in it. Who in their right mind let anybody have seven dogs in a hotel room? Imagine how little sleep I got with seven dogs barking.

Great hotel for families with kids or who want to have a lively time. The pool area is great and there aren’t over-bearing rules. The green belt and river walk are right off the property. Bikes are available to guests. Walking or riding distance to tons of restaurants and coffee shops. The bar/restaurant are open late with live music so great if you are looking for night life. Riverview rooms are the quietest but Dont stay here if you want peace and quiet. It’s not the place for that.

Open wires showing in steam room . No light in the sauna fixture like it was missing . The room had fleas I arrived late on Friday around 11pm the night of my booking . I told the front desk first thing in the morning. They insured me they would spray and clean and change all bedding. When I around back Saturday evening after spending all day at the ball fields I was hoping to come back to a solved solution they told me no one had delayed the message and the night person was there by themself and there was nothing they could do about it . So thankful I had air mattress in my car I brought in and slept on for the night . I told the front desk I the morning about the issues it was a big deal to her she didn’t apologize. I just said she would look into it .

The very unfriendly desk clerk informed us that they had no king riverview rooms, even though we had a reservation for one. He told me king riverview rooms do not exist. Verbatim. If you look at expedia and look at the hotels site, the room choices are different. We were put in a room in the front of the hotel and listened to traffic all night. There were also traveling sports teams present and even after multiple people complained the teenagers were running, skateboarding and screaming along the corridors well after 11:00 pm. I contacted expedia to resolve the room issue immediately upon check in and they offered me a 25.00 credit. Wow. This morning at check out the clerk told me they DO have riverfront king rooms, and as we were talking the teenagers were again running around with no supervision. I understand that there can be mix ups in reservations but the hotel did nothing to even try and accommodate our reservation. No apology, no attempt to correct it. Just the comment that I was wrong and the room didn't exist before dismissing me. I suggest calling ahead if you book to be sure what they advertise is what they offer.

Walking trail by river was pretty. Building maintenance was meh. Needs some work. People next door to us had yappie dogs. The restaurant in the hotel was more of a bar. Food was not good and was over priced!

Staff were not at the front desk every time I was needing staff assistance. Room had a few issues: small tear in the fitted sheet, missing tile baseboard in the bathroom, loose toilet paper holder, light bulb out in a lamp, worn door seal that let in light under door and a musty smell when I first went in the room. And toilet paper was cheap single ply.

The river walk was super. Basketball court, video game room, shuffleboard, foosball and pool table all onsite! It was recently remodeled and they did pretty well! Toilets need adjustment. Bunk beds are cheap and squeaky, but mattresses are comfortable. Found a pillow that worked. Breakfast was pretty standard, but better than many properties.

This hotel has the potential for so much more. I booked my stay through a third party and when I arrived at the hotel, they did not give me the room that I paid for. Their whirlpool tub was out of order and instead of only charging me for the room that I received, they refused to, and kept my money for the room that I originally booked.
