Hi Heather, we apologize if the improvements we've made to the mansion aren't quite up to your expectations. The robes were done away with after covid and unfortunately have not made a return. After a lot of feedback we did open up the small living room into a larger dining area where guests could gather and bring in their own food as well as use the fully stocked kitchen if they so choose. You must have missed the assortment of breakfast options as we keep the kitchen & fridge fully stocked and accessible with fruit, bread and jelly packets for toast, juice, coffee and creamers, water, tea, hot chocolate, yogurts, granola, oatmeal packets and a variety a pastries. We are grateful for the things you did enjoy about your stay and welcome your insights. We hope you will visit us again.

Hi Emily, I apologize for you not receiving the service you deserve as a guest at the Hines Mansion. We have been transitioning to a more airbnb style mansion and hopefully you saw on our website beforehand that the breakfast had been discontinued. It has since been replaced with a fully stocked kitchen with an assortment of breakfast items and beverages. Our check in host would normally be there for in person check ins from 4-6pm and I am sorry if they weren't for some reason. We would love for you to give us another chance...please contact us for a discounted rate on a future reservation.

Thanks for your review. We hope you'll visit us again. We have been transitioning and offer a continental breakfast and stocked fridge for our guests and baked fresh cookies upon check in . Apologies for no soap in the tub, sometimes the housekeepers leave it in the shower area, hopefully that was the case.
