Sehr schönes Hotel, stilvoll und tollen Pool mit direkten Blick auf den Douro. Personal war sehr freunflich und hilfsbereit. Leider etwas weit weg von der Altstadt zum kaufen, ich würde es trotezdem wieder buchen :-)

Is a 5 stars hotel to charge but is not complying with the standards of 5 stars hotel. Maybe a 3 stars in quality of the service. Place view is beautiful and rooms and comfortable. The people in general are great and helpful. The problem for me is lack of good management. Not the same as the other Pestana group hotels. Very disappointed of the hotel. Will never recommend and surprise to see a 4.7 rating in the reviews. Summary. Is a 3 stars hotel with prices of a 5 stars hotel

Wow what a hotel outside the city stunning views of the river amazing pool and hotel employees all so helpful friendly couldn’t do enough. Went slightly out of season so not all facilities such as roof top bar available but didn’t soil the use of the hotel will definitely return and you can walk into Porto so good exercise cab only €8 away from the hustle and bustle of the city allowing you to chill out as well.

We loved the hotel and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a room with a river view which was an unexpected treat. Food was good , particularly the breakfast. The only niggle was the distance from the city but we used Ubers which were fast and reliable.

This is a lovely quiet little hotel on the River Douro. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel restaurant is incredible, both for the breakfast buffet and the dinner options. The rooms are not large, but the balconies open up the rooms quite a bit. The rates were excellent. My only real complaint is that it is not with walking distance of anything, and guests will need to use a taxi or car service to get into Porto proper.

Lindo hotel com vista do Douro
O hotel é novo e muito bonito. Era uma antiga fabrica de perfumes que foi transformada em hotel. Os vitrais e as vistas impressionam. O quarto que fiquei tinha um tamanho razoável e a cama era muito confortável. Mas o grande diferencial era a varanda com a vista panorâmica do rio Douro. Recomendo que peguem o quarto com vista. O bar tinha bons drinks e o café da manhã muito completo. Vi que tinha uma piscina linda, que deve ser muito boa de frequentar no verão. Fomos muito bem tratados pelos funcionários e ganhamos o estacionamento como cortesia. O hotel fica numa curta distância do centro. Achei a localização boa e longe do barulho. E para irmos ao centro pegamos carro de aplicativo e pagamos bem pouco. Eu definitivamente recomendo esse hotel e, se voltar ao Porto, certamente me hospedarei lá novamente.

Very very nice property - a short Uber from the Ribeira area, and totally walkable in 1/2 hour or so if you need to stretch your legs. Superb staff at reception, in the restaurant, and bellman. Very good value for money, especially in November.

- lovely hotel with a great history - buffet dinner was nice and with lots of variety. Laura who served us was fantastic and the most welcoming staff member - Nice pool bar and great to have snooker and table football - really lovely touch to send us a post card - comfortable bed and nice room - only issue is that the aircon was not great so the room felt very warm at time
