Unfortunately, this rental did not meet our expectations and was not as portrayed in the listing.The interior of the house was noticeably smaller than the photos suggested. Before our stay, I asked the owner specifically about the kitchen, since we were staying for a full week over Christmas and planned to cook. I was told we would have everything needed. In reality, the cookware was in very poor condition—most pans were heavily scratched and difficult to cook with, and there were very few usable utensils. Additionally, many of the cups and plates were cracked and unusable.Cleanliness was a major concern. We found roaches in multiple areas of the house, including inside a kitchen cabinet over the pans, in our bed, and in one of the bedrooms. The living room rug was extremely dirty and had food debris embedded in it.When I brought these issues to the owner during our stay, her response was rude and dismissive, and she told us to “just leave.” Leaving was not an option, as we were there during Christmas with family.Overall, this property was not what was advertised, and the condition of the home along with the host’s response made for a very uncomfortable stay. I would not return and would caution others to carefully consider these issues before booking.
