„We brought our 11 month old on his first beach trip and the house had everything we needed. The beach is extremely close to the property. You have the option to drive or walk. We did the 1 minute short drive. We came on this trip after heavy rainfall and there was no high water, but lots of mosquitoes on the island as a whole, so bring bug spray. It really helps. I’d recommend this property to families of 3-4 or 2 couples! It was great for our family of 3.“

„The house was beautiful and the location was great. Close to The Big Store and local restaurants and only a short walk to the beach. We loved the amenities available to us as well. Downside was that the ice machine in the fridge had a huge hole in the bottom, so we kept having to buy bags of ice to keep in there for our drinks. The mattresses were also super uncomfortable for us, but if you like firm mattresses, you should be okay. All in all, we had such a fun visit and would definitely book ...

If you are coming via Galveston (or plan on going back and forth), please remember that it takes time to travel by ferry during high traffic times. There were 2 minor things that could have been better: 1. There wasn't enough supplies (extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc). This could have been better. 2. I called/texted ...
