The Space:

Relax on the quiet end of the Bolivar Peninsula at A Cool Change, a 1300 square foot beach house located in the Gilchrist area. Enjoy a completely unobstructed view from the porch or mezzanine level or take a 2-minute walk to the beach. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is perfect for a small gathering or two families.



In the open-concept living/kitchen/dining area, you will find lovely coastal decor and comfortable seating. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, including a coffee pot suitable for K-cups or regular drip. There is seating at the kitchen island and separate dining table - great for meals and game nights!



Each bedroom features a king bed, and there is an air mattress available to provide sleeping room for 8. The primary bedroom is equipped with an ensuite bath, as well. For your convenience, high speed internet is provided, and all bedrooms have USB outlets.



A Cool Change features two different levels of deck with beautiful beach views. On the mezzanine level you will find porch swings, games and a picnic table that seats 10. There are deck chairs on the mezzanine as well as the top floor and there are gates that enclose the mezzanine and porch. Downstairs you'll find ample parking, a hot and cold water outdoor shower, foot washing station and a fish cleaning sink. You will also find a gas grill (propane may need to be filled).



We sometimes experience power outages at the beach, but at A Cool Change you will not have to worry. This home is set up with a generator that can supply the whole home with power.



Cargo lift is available with additional charge. No pets are allowed. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. (Smoking allowed on ground level only) Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).
