"It was close to San Pedro Market and the main square and a good place to spend some days in Cusco. But the rooms were pretty cold at night . We did a trip outside of Cuzco so we had to leave the hotel very early. We have got a breakfirst box but it was really poor only 2 fruits, some sweets and a bit of crackers with water instead of a breakfirst buffet I exspected minimum a kind of a sandwich"

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home – cared for, welcomed, and embraced by the warmth of this beautiful place and its people. The service was outstanding. We were given a detailed map of Cusco upon check-in, along with thoughtful, local recommendations that made our explorations even more special. Every team member we encountered was genuinely kind, always greeted us by name, and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The design of the hotel is stunning – rustic, elegant, and full of authentic local charm. Every corner has a story, and the ambiance is both peaceful and inspiring. Our room was impeccably clean, cozy, and well-stocked with fresh tea and water daily. In the evenings, we were treated to a lovely turn-down service, complete with a hot water bottle tucked into the bed – a delightful touch that made us smile each night. One of our favorite parts of the day was relaxing by the fireplace in the common area, sipping on complimentary tea, and unwinding after exploring Cusco. The cozy patio was another perfect place to relax, especially in the evening with a drink from the well-stocked bar, which offers an excellent selection of cocktails and local spirits. "We had a dead fly and two moving larvae in our unit. Even after we addressed the problem, it wasn’t resolved - only when we addressed it the second time. Also, the bathroom isn’t in the best shape anymore - there is a crack in the tub and the water is floating out on the floor. Apart from these mentioned incidents the stay was enjoyable, especially since the hotel is located in the city center. The breakfast was okay, I feel a little like mass production and I am not sure about the hygiene standards after the larvae incident in our room. But maybe it was just misperception because it tasted good and we didn’t have any problems."

"When we booked our stay, the hotel had a 8.2 rating. On a good day we would give it a 5.0 rating. We stayed in two different rooms, both had mold on the bathroom ceilings. The cleaning standard were also very poor with dirty towels and other people’s hairs on the floors. In one of the rooms the shower battery didn’t work and the bathroom smelled of pee. Moreover, the breakfast session was run by only one women (incl. cutting fruits, cooking eggs, cleaning, etc), who was running around to try and make the many guests satisfied, we felt very sorry for her and think the hotel ought to have more personelle to help with the breakfast. For example, when we were at breakfast, all guest ate their breakfast with spoons and knives only as the women simply didn’t have time to wash some forks. The hotel was very cheap and the rooms mirrored that. This was the worst hotel in we stayed in during our three weeks in Peru. "
