The Space:

The sun drops behind the palms, the pool light flips on, and someone has already claimed the best seat at the outdoor bar. That is a pretty normal evening at The Glow-Up House, a 1930s Central Phoenix bungalow styled top to bottom for sun-soaked pool days and get-ready-together nights. You are minutes from Midtown and downtown, with Sky Harbor about 12 to 15 minutes out.

The backyard is the main event. Heated private pool and spa, an outdoor bar built for slow afternoons, a patio table for dinner straight off the grill, and an expansive yard with room to roam. Inside, the glam area is the surprise favorite, and the foosball table in the living room gets competitive faster than anyone expects! The chef's kitchen comes fully stocked with high-end stainless appliances, plenty of cookware, and a Keurig for slow mornings. A 65-inch smart TV, board games, and a washer and dryer round it out.



Who it's for: families, girls' weekends, concert trips, and work stays alike. The king room doubles as a quiet workspace if you need a couple of focused hours.



Our local team is around throughout your stay, so you can put the phone down and just enjoy Phoenix!



Guest Access:

You have full access to the entire home, inside and out. One locked utility and supply closet is reserved for property maintenance, and everything else is yours to enjoy.



The Neighborhood:

You are in the heart of Central Phoenix, in a quiet historic pocket of tree-lined streets that sits right between Midtown and downtown.



Food & drink: Taco Guild, upscale tacos served inside a converted historic church, is barely a few minutes up the road and worth the trip on your first night! Five to ten minutes gets you into the Uptown and Central Avenue dining scene, where patio brunch spots, taquerias, and cocktail bars are stacked close together. Locals send visitors to The Henry for a long dinner and good cocktails, Snooze for pancakes and a morning Bloody Mary, Gadzooks for build-your-own enchiladas, and Urban Beans when you need coffee and a place to actually get some work done.



Arts & attractions: The Phoenix Art Museum and the Phoenix Theatre Company sit side by side about seven minutes south, and just past them you'll find Margaret T. Hance Park and the Japanese Friendship Garden, where koi ponds and shade trees make you forget you're in the middle of a city. The Roosevelt Row arts district, with its murals, galleries, and First Friday crowds, is roughly ten minutes away. Chase Field and Footprint Center are about ten to fifteen minutes for a game or a concert, and the Desert Botanical Garden is around fifteen to twenty.



Outdoors: Encanto Park is just a few minutes away for a morning walk, and the trailheads at Piestewa Peak and Camelback Mountain are about fifteen minutes if you want to catch a sunrise from the top.



Everyday: Grocery stores, coffee, and pharmacies are all within about five minutes.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to explore the Valley, and there is parking for up to 4 vehicles between the driveway and the street. Uber and Lyft are plentiful and quick here, and the Valley Metro light rail runs along Central Avenue nearby if you would rather skip the drive downtown.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.



Guests must be 25 years or older to book this property.



Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

No pets allowed.



We kindly ask that guests refrain from hosting parties or events at the property. We aim to maintain a respectful environment for our neighbors.



An exterior security camera is installed at the back porch of the property for quality and security monitoring purposes.



Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway and on the street.



Stays of 28 days or more may incur an additional cleaning fee.



Heated pool fee is $125/night. We recommend heating the pool in the months between October and May each year. We require at least a 3-day notice before your arrival if you'd like the pool heated. Pool must be heated for the entirety of your stay. Thank you!



GUEST VERIFICATION: To help ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, the primary guest listed on the reservation may be asked to complete a quick verification process within 48 hours of booking, depending on the platform used to book the reservation.



Prior to check-in, guests may also be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes agreeing to our rental terms and conditions and, on certain booking platforms, providing a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card before arrival.



Included with your booking is our damage waiver coverage, which helps protect against accidental, self-reported damage during your stay when reported prior to check-out.
