„The description of YURAQTAMPU house is a little bit deceiving - It's listed as 2 baths but there is only one shower with hot water. In fact, only one bathroom has hot water, not the other nor the kitchen. 4 bedrooms are spacious, but only one of them has a window. The noise from the street in the morning may be a little too much for a light sleeper plus there is a dog who barks in the morning and we were not able to sleep past 7 am. „We loved this place. It met all our needs. It is cute. It is an old building but that just makes it cooler. Thick stone walls and wooden log ceiling. It is small for a house but bigger than a hotel room. Easily slept our family of 5. It has 4 comfortable beds, a kitchen, bathroom and living room with a tv. It was clean and comfortable. „The stay was wonderful! The staff are very attentive (both fluent in Spanish and English) and the cabins are clean with ample space and located directly in front of a magical mountain. There is a jacuzzi and sauna on the grounds as well as a laundry facility free of charge with a reservation with the staff. Breakfast, small fee, was delicious and delivered hot to our cabin. The hotel has a great concierge and transportation to and from airport (for a fee) and travel to nearby cities and tours. “

Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel

10/10 Hervorragend

"Wir wurden am Bahnhof abgeholt und zum Hotel begleitet. Es liegt ganz am Anfang von Machu Picchu Pueblo oberhalb des Bahnhofs. Deshalb kann man beim Frühstücken oder Abendessen die ein- und ausfahrenden Züge beobachten. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und ruhig. Wir hatten für Machu Picchu einen Guide vom Hotel gebucht und hatten mit Wilfried einen sehr schönen und informativen Nachmittag. Er hat wunderschöne Fotos und Videos von uns gemacht und kannte die besten Aussichtspunkte, Danke Wilfried. Frühstück und Abendessen waren inklusive und sehr lecker. Der Bus hoch zum Sanctuary ist zu Fuß ca. 10 min entfernt. Wir würden wieder das Inkaterra wählen."

"hier kann man auch mal mehrere Tage verbringen. Kleiner Pool, also nicht zu viel erwarten, aber es gibt 2 Saunen und einen Jacuzzi. Drinks an der Bar etwas überteuert. Eine Billardrunde oder ein paar Kickerspiele erfordern doch etwas mehr als nur ein Getränk. Kapselkaffee nur einmal, auch kein Kaffeeweisser vorhnden, das ist etwas schade, darauf sollte es dann auch nicht mehr ankommen."

"This time we booked a Colonial Room. Number 231. It was disgusting because the plumbing is obviously old. It stank the whole time like sewage. We had to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. And the only window opens on the Gallery so that everybody walks by your room and has perfect views unless you keep the curtains closed all the time. Pay attention to what you book. Several days ago we had a superior room and it was great. Nothing comparable to the Colonial rooms. The staff was amazing like at our first stay. Very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was great and the distance to the main square is unbeatable."
