Inviting, comfy down comforter & empty dressers/night stands with plenty of outlets & giant TV in the bedroom. „Well appointed cottage in Seaside, less than a mile from beautiful urban walking trails & ocean/beach access. Easy drive to Monterey as well. Found tons of delicious local eateries too. Had some trouble accessing property upon arrival, perhaps because we were 30 minutes early or because our welcome email had the incorrect code. „We couldn't have been happier with our stay in Pacific Grove. Vivian is a great host, very accommodating and quick to answer any questions. The house was perfect for our needs. It has a well stocked kitchen, an area I could work remotely from, beautifully landscaped yard, and its in a great neighborhood just a few minutes drive to the beach. In addition to this, it was great being able to bring our dog with us for our stay. Would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away.“

„To be honest, the pictures provided of the cottage dont do it enough justice. Palo Colorado Rd is initially intimidating but as long as you turn your lights on, take it slow and be cautious of other vehicles its a wonderful road to drive through. The cottage is plesantly private and has everything you would want/need. Both trails are well taken care of, felt very safe and at the end of each trail is a place to relax on chairs or a hammock. „House is woefully in need of many minor repairs. Wall sockets in bedrooms need to be replaced. Most important issue is slippery bathtubs with no grab rails. One shower has see through window to outside. We had to hang a towel outside to block it. Another shower had no light, bulb needs replacing. House lighting system is puzzling…whenever anyone gets up at night the entire house lights up. Heating system is poorly designed with one bedroom getting all the heat. „Julia's house was a great home base for our weekend getaway and Big Sur Marathon. Kitchen was well stocked and the rest of the house was spacious and comfortable. The driveway is very steep and narrow, which would be good to know ahead of time if you have a low vehicle or one with a trailer hitch like ours!“
