There were definitely things we enjoyed—the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, the tram service was awesome (thanks Kyle!) and the home was well laid out for a group stay. When I reached out to the property managers after our stay, in hopes of improving the experience for future guests, I was met with defense. They put the blame on me for not reaching out during our stay. We were only there for a short 3-day trip, and having service interruptions would be particularly disruptive to our vacation plans.If a home has passed a thorough inspection (their words), it shouldn’t need maintenance right away.Here were my notes for them:- The pool was closed for multiple days, and even when reopened, it wasn’t in usable condition—cloudy water, a bandaid, and what looked like blood near the edge. We were never informed of the closure, even when we paid for early check-in with the expectation of using the pool.- The gate to the property was broken and this wasn’t communicated.- The home wasn’t as clean as expected for a luxury listing. (Hair balls on the floor, dusty window sills, inappropriate stickers in the bunk room nightstand, dirty bathroom floor, etc.)- Two of the bedroom doors wouldn’t close properly, which affected privacy.- We were charged to check in two hours early despite the house being ready, and were also asked to pay for late checkout even though the property was unbooked afterward.- Not enough extra towels, pillows, or blankets were
