„This was my second stay in one year and I chose it because of its proximity to The Philosophers Walk as well as being located in a residential community, though quite close to a major temple as well as quieter and lovely ones. There are only 4 rooms; this is a typical lodging house - shared bath and kitchen. Proprietor Nakamoto is very helpful !!!“

The japanese breakfast every day was truly memorable, and the coffee shop on the property was beautiful as well. I could not recommend more, 10/10 stay, worth the price! "Wegen Erkrankung des Reisebegleiters musste ich für drei Tage ein Extra Zimmer mieten. Das war sehr günstig und ich habe exzellente Hilfe von einem Angestellten am Counter bekommen. Auch der Transfer wurde von dort organisiert, weil leider nachts keine Busse, Züge oder Taxis nach Osaka fuhren, der VIP-Transfer kostete 80 Euro pro Person, der aber pünktlich und zuverlässig war!!!"

Sie liegt sehr zentral in Kyoto, sodass man viele Restaurants und Stores fußläufig erreichen kann. Auch eine Bus und Ubahn Verbindung ist in unmittelbarer Nähe, was auch fernere Ziele mühelos erreichbar macht.
Ebenfalls bietet das Hotel eine kostenlose Bar mit Getränken und Kaffee an.

"I loved everything about the Moksa Hotel! The accommodation is a bit out of the way, but still easy to reach by subway and bus. The hotel is located at the foot of a mountain with a forest and a river, and is very quiet! The staff was great, the rooms were stunningly beautiful, and the spa, which you could book as an additional option, was a dream. The garden is definitely the highlight. Drinks at the bar and in the room are free. If you don't want to book dinner, you can also order delivery. One thing that could be improved is that there is also fruit or yoghurt at breakfast.

"Es war eine sehr eindrucksvolle Erfahrung, einmal die traditionelle japanische Kultur hautnah zu erleben. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Es gab Tee zur Begrüssung und warme Tücher zum Reinigen der Hände und des Gesichts. Alles wurde uns mit viel Liebe zum Detail erklärt.
Die Yukata waren wunderschön und haben das Erlebnis abgerundet. Das Onsen war zwar klein, aber als private Nutzung definitiv eine besondere Erfahrung. Auch das Schlafen auf den japanischen Futon-Matratzen am Boden war etwas ganz Neues für uns.
Das traditionelle japanische Frühstück war spannend, traf jedoch nicht ganz unseren Geschmack.
Einziger negativer Punkt war das WC, es war sehr klein und eng.
Insgesamt war es ein tolles Erlebnis und absolut empfehlenswert."

Große Auswahl beim Frühstück inkl. Sashimi, Abendessen wird war zwar nicht direkt angeboten, ab 21 Uhr gibt es allerdings bis 1 Uhr Nachts late Night Ramen. Es hat auch eine super Lage um die Staft zu Erkunden, im nahen Umkreis gibt es aucj viele Restaurants. Nur zu empfehlen, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt 2 Tage verlängert weil es schön war & kommen definitiv wieder! Vielen Dank an dad Onyado Team, es war ein Traum Aufenthalt! "
