Finger weg!!!!! Nicht buchen!!!!!! Die Unterkunft ist die reinste Zumutung. Bei der Rezeptionistin lief Musik wie in einem Horrorfilm, der erste Eindruck grundsätzlich gruselig, die Frau erzählte von Leichen, die im Koffer transportiert worden. Das Zimmer lässt sich abschließen, aber den nicht veränderbaren Code von 0000 kennen wohl alle, die hier vor der Tür rumlungern. Das Zimmer hätten wir tagsüber nicht verlassen wollen. Das Zimmer ist furchtbar dreckig, die Betten katastrophal, der Kühlschrank komplett vereist, die Nachbarn sind Messi s (sowas ekliges habe ich noch nie gesehen) und saßen den ganzen Tag rauchend vor unserem Zimmer mit Stühlen. Es stinkt bestialisch. Ein Nichtraucherzimmer? Wohl kaum. Wir haben versucht eine Nacht (2 waren gebucht) früher auszuhecken. Expedia hatte dem zugestimmt, obwohl das Zimmer nicht refundable ist. Die Rezeptionistin selbst war bei Abreise wie vom Erdboden verschluckt. Ging nicht ans Telefon und auf Nachrichten von Expedia wurde ebenfalls nicht reagiert. Das Geld sehen wir wohl nie wieder, aber keine weitere Minute hätten wir dort freiwillig verbracht. Nicht buchen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ein ziemlich heruntergekommenenes Hotel. Überall hat es nach Drogen gerochen. Zudem fährt direkt vor dem Hotel 1 Zug der jede 2-3 Sekunden ein Alarmsignal in unnormaler Lautstärke abgibt. An Schlaf ist kaum zu denken bei dieser Unterkunft. Lage war trotzdem ganz gut!

Es ist sehr laut, weil Züge in der Straße fahren und dort laut tuten müssen. man glaubt der Zug fährt durchs Zimmer. Der Internetzugang ist meistens nicht vorhanden. Wir mussten nach einer Kaffeemaschine, Handtüchern, einem Stuhl und nach der Reinigung des Kühlschranks fragen, da noch Sachen vom Vormieter drin lagen.

Preis/Leistung passt; super Lage
Das Hotel hat einige renovierungsbedürftige Ecken ist aber für Preis/Leistung absolut ok. Wir waren zufrieden und würden auch wieder buchen. Die Lage ist sehr gut! Rundherum wurde alles neu renoviert. Es gibt einige gute Restaurants und die Fähre nach SFO ist gleich um die Ecke. Der viel kritisierte Zug ist aus unserer Sicht eigentlich eine Touristenattraktion. Wo fährt schon ein langer Güterzug mitten durch das Stadtzentrum?! Absolut sehenswert!

Despite being a regular customer, I was refused a room reserved through Expedia due to an expired ID. Having had my wallet stolen recently, I offered a photo of the current ID I had on my phone which confirms my identity but was denied again despite this being accepted prior to this. I have had nothing but excellent service from daytime staff here and consider myself to be a no hassle, polite, quiet guest. That said, the concierge in the evening was dismissive, unprofessional and unwelcoming as he carried around a police baton. On top of all that, I was told I could not get a refund until Monday, despite not even checking in??? Usually great staff. Not this time. Not everyone is a bad guy, dude.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Pas neuf, rien de chic mais lit confortable, chambre spacieuse, personnel courtois. A deux pas du sympathique “Jack London square” où on retrouve multitude de restaurants et un service de navette fluviale vers San Francisco. Il faut s’attendre au bruit des trains qui passent juste en face.

The online pictures do not accurately represent the actual rooms. The walls and furniture had chips and stains and overall poorly “fixed.” The room smelled like pure cigarettes and the sheets had stains. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing Stay
This place was amazing! After reading reviews I was worried about the hotel and the area but it was great. The rooms were big and clean, the hotel was clean, plenty of parking, staff was amazing and the whole area was great. We stayed for 3 day and will definitely stay there next time we are in the area.
