Die Unterkunft liegt in einer gefährlichen und extrem schmutzigen Gegend. Die Türen sind extrem billig und weisen riesige Spaltmaße auf, ein Vorhang wäre genauso sicher ... Es ist extrem hellhörig, die Handtücher/Badetücher haben Flecken und es sind ständig Haare in den "frischen" Tüchern.

Zimmer 111 nicht für Gäste geeignet
Wir waren bereits vor drei Jahren Gast in diesem Hotel und hatten es in guter Erinnerung. Die Zimmer als Ganzes sind OK. Leider waren wir Wand an Wand mit einem Personalzimmer oder Personalwohnung. Der Lärm war unerträglich. Von 23:30 bis 01:30 und von 03:00 bis 06:30 war einigermassen Ruhe. Der Lobby Mitarbeiter entschuldigte sich mit den Worten, ( sorry, they drank too much.)

Gibt leider nicht viel Auswahl in der Gegend.
Das Motel ist schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer waren sauber aber sehr dunkel. Auf die Außenanlagen (Aufgänge/Wege zu den Zimmern) achtet offenbar niemand.

You get what you pay for
Die Bettlaken waren voller Flecken, was auf auf die Reinigungsfirma geschoben wurde. Wir haben uns ein neues Set bringen lassen. Die Kissen (nicht die Bezüge) waren voller dunkler Schweiß - und Kosmetikflecken, so dass man es durch die Bezüge durchscheinen sah. Wir haben dann ohne Kissen geschlafen. Der Teppichboden wurde definitiv nicht vor unserem Check-In gesaugt und so wie er aussah mindestens eine Woche nicht. Es gab alte abgewohnte Sessel im Zimmer in die man sich nicht reinsetzen möchte. Ansonsten war das Badezimmer ok und es gab keine Käfer und Bettwanzen. Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und TV haben funktioniert. Das WLAN war sehr langsam. Das Motel liegt sehr nah an einer "BART" Station (Ein Zug der nach SF fährt). Die direkte Umgebung war tagsüber ok. Nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit würden wir nicht mehr rausgehen. Wir würden das nächste mal wahrscheinlich mehr Geld ausgeben wobei Hotels und Motels in SF und Umgebung wirklich sehr sehr teuer sind (200 Dollar pro Nacht sind sehr schnell überschritten). Das Imperial Inn war vergleichsweise günstig und von daher passt der Spruch "You get what you pay for" ganz gut.

Das Hotel hat ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Das Zimmer im EG war sehr ruhig aber schon ein wenig renovierungsbedürftig.

Ekliges Hotel in schlimmer Gegend
Wir mussten zum Glück nur 2 Nächte dort verbringen. Unsere Zimmertür war völlig locker und dünn. Ein Vorhang wäre genau so gut gewesen. Die Möbel sind versifft. Beim Duschen floss das Wasser in das Zimmer. Es riecht überall nach duftspray. Wir hatten nicht einmal Bettbezüge. Ein Pluspunkt bekommt die relativ neue Toilette. Würde dort nicht nochmal buchen. In Oakland SFO muss man einfach mehr Geld investieren.

Lieber NEIN!
Wir waren vier Nächte in diesem Hotel. Zusammen gefasst war das Gute: der nette Herr an der Rezeption sowie der Preis! Schlecht war: die Lage, die Nachbarn, die Lautstärke, die Sauberkeit, der Schlafkomfort! Man hat jedes Wort der Nachbarn gehört, Es wurde getrampelt, geschrien und man hat den Bettsports der anderen gehört. Man hat sich auch nicht wirklich sicher in der Gegend gefühlt. Ich würde jedem von diesem Hotel abwarten lieber mehr zahlen und sich wohl fühlen! Hinzukommt, dass wenn man nach San Francisco rein fährt immer noch mal Gebühren für die Brücke sowie teures parken in der Innenstadt bezahlen muss.

Das Hotel bietet mehr als erwartet!
Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung. Man kann das Auto getrost hier stehen lassen, denn die Entfernung zum Fisherman's Warf ist mit der Bart ( gleich um die Ecke) sehr schnell erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt groß genug, ausreichend Schränke, Schreibtisch mit Sessel und ein Tischchen mit zwei Stühlen - was braucht man mehr! Die Ausstattung ist nicht gerade neu, aber es ist alles sauber! WLAN und Fernseher sind im Zimmer vorhanden. Kaffee/Tee, Saft, Wasser, Obst und Gebäck werden zum Frühstück in der Lobby bereitgestellt. Fazit: sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wir würden hier wieder buchen!

Das Motel ist sauber und günstig. Nach vielen negativen Kommentaren hat mich das Imperial Inn positiv überrascht. Die Bart Station in direkter Nähe ist ideal für San Francisco. Nicht die beste Gegend, aber unsicher habe ich mich nie gefühlt. sehr positiv: check-in war schon um 11am möglich.

There was mold in the bathroom and almost no water pressure for the shower. The beds were comfy but had small blood stains and a couple of cigarette burns. The parking was free and the front desk personnel was kind and attentive. It is a great location for travelers on a budget. It was also very quiet.

Very nice stay
We were allowed to check in early without paying extra, since we came from far away. The rooms were very nice, and had a fridge and microwave. The courtyard was perfect to sit and enjoy coffee and read. There were quite a few nice places within walking distance to go.

The cleaning detail for our room was lacking. We only had a quarter roll of toilet paper and only 2 small towels and no shower towels. The website advertises microwave but our room had no microwave. My son who also stayed in his own room was assigned a room with a guest already assigned. He walked in on a lady half dressed. Otherwise not a bad stay

The area outside of the property was a bit unsafe but the motel area was pretty secure. The room was nice.

Not pleased
I wasn’t very happy with my stay. To start, I requested a handicap accessible room. I put on the 3rd floor and the location had a broken elevator. So I had to carry my handicap 4 year old up 3 flights of stairs. The room looked fine at first glance. But we were surprised to see the floors were filthy. My 4 year old can’t walk, she scoots on her knees. When I went to pick her up I saw that her hands and shins were BLACK with filth. I hurried to give her a bath only to find out the bathroom light was on seizure mode, strobing like crazy, with the worlds loudest fan. It sounded like someone dropped a whole bag of marbles into a blender. Not very happy and won’t be returning. Happy I only needed to stay there for one night

It is a good little motel with very helpful staff. It is in a great location to travel from, with easy access to all the freeways. They let us leave a car there for 2 days while we went into the City. The beds were very comfortable and clean and the sheets were all cotton, clean and soft. I would stay here again.

Very friendly and nice staff. Very reasonable. Looks like it’s been renovated recently. Very easy access to eatery and supermarkets. Loved the courtyard and the charming fountain. The room is cheerfully decorated. A few things here and there, but nothing annoying.
