Sweet Yosemite Cottage Near the Park Entrance and Bass Lake

We are so glad to share our darling cottage near Yosemite National Park with you! The home is located just 20 minutes away from the south entrance of Yosemite, 8 minutes to the swimming beach at Bass Lake, and 2 minutes away from the town of Oakhurst with its restaurants, cafes, galleries and grocery stores.

The home is surrounded by massive granite boulders, giving you the true feeling of being in the Sierras out every window.

The cottage is fully equipped with blazing fast WIFI, air conditioning, a clothes washer/dryer, a full kitchen, bathroom, and Roku TV for streaming.

Our main goal, however, in designing the home is to give you a beautiful place to enjoy nature. Every single window has a stunning view of granite boulders, mountains, trees, or sometimes even wildlife (mostly rabbits).

The home comfortably sleeps between 2-5 people. The cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom and is a great size for two couples or a family. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds and one of the bedrooms has a twin size pullout trundle underneath to sleep an extra person if required.

The property is filled with massive granite boulders all around that are great for climbing and exploring. Our kids love using them as a playground, though please make sure children are supervised and people climbing the boulders or exploring the property due so at their own risk.

Important note #1: The drinking water in the kitchen is purified using a reverse osmosis machine that filters our natural spring well water on the property. However, faucet water and shower water has kind of a salty tasty due to minerals in the area. While this water is perfectly safe, it's pretty salty tasting. Just drink the filtered water from the special drinking water tap in the kitchen!

Important note #2: This home is a very cute country cottage, but you're still out in the country! While we go out of our way to provide a modern, comfortable environment, you may see critters and bugs. As with everywhere near Yosemite, it's country life in the Sierras out here!

Additional note: We have one camera facing the driveway. Doesn't face back patio, or hot tub area.
