„Our family had a wonderful stay at the Ponderosa Chalet. The hosts were very communicative and available to answer any questions. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio and grilling in the evenings. The sunsets and stargazing from the cozy hot tub were memorable highlights of the trip! We’d definitely return, and highly recommend for families seeking a spacious house for get togethers.“

„Gary and Kimberly’s place is fantastic! Beautiful setting, great location in Oakhurst, close to Yosemite and Bass Lake. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a beautiful and well furnished place to stay. The facilities were great, and it was like a home away from home, and in some ways even better. We were all impressed at the thoughtfulness that went into making it such a pleasant place for guests. Nothing but kudos for this cozy family home. Highly recommended!“

„Well maintained property with plenty of room for my family of 5. It was stocked with all the necessary supplies needed for our stay. The only complaint is that the washer and dryer was not available to use which was one of the reasons I chose this property. Otherwise, all my expectations were met!“

„When we walked it we could tell lots of thought went into this fun place. We loved the huge kitchen and the theater area was amazing for movies. The kids loved the arcade area and the play rooms. Beds were comfortable and rooms decorated with the rustic look I love. We went out in the evening to the fire pit and enjoyed our hot chocolate and told stories. I would definitely come back it was a great place for a large families 😊“

„Better than hotel nearby Very good experience for us, a short stay at yosemite for two nights. It’s located very close to all the shopping center. Clean, sufficient supplies, check in & out efficient. The only trouble we had is to enter the code for the locker. There’s no instruction prior to the arrival other than the texted password. But once you called the management, it got solved right away. Overall, i will recommend for sure and will be back for another time.“

„The house is just outside of Oakhurst along the highway towards Yosemite. It was a quiet location and the house had tons of space and storage. All amenities were working properly and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The drive to Yosemite was simple and we were pleased with the vicinity to town and many restaurants as well as reaching Yosemite for our daily outings. „Host was very inviting and quick to any questions we had. We were able to bring our pets which was great but the home didn't have a pet smell which was even better. Highly recommend this location! While our trip was to see Yosemite we were excited to head back and spend the rest of the day in enjoying the stained glass window and games provided.“

„We loved the house, in its secluded, private and peaceful setting. We were the first renters since the re-model. Loved the space and lots of storage. Since no one has stayed here there’s no kitchen spices salt or pepper. The master bed is comfy but firm. We didn’t have internet and couldn’t use the smart TV until they fixed it on the third day. That was why I gave this place 4 stars.“

„This was the perfect place for our party of 9. Doug was great to communicate with. He gave great directions as we did arrive after dark. The house could use a deep clean but was sufficient for what we needed. We would stay there again.“
