„Have stayed in The Unicorn many times in the past and have been very satisfied however this particular room lacked in a few small things. One side of the double bed did not have any surface to place personal items such as watch, phone and wallet or cash etc. Because of the exceptional large bed there was not enough room for a bedside cabinet on that side but maybe a small shelf would be handy. Also one side of the bed had a light switch but it didn’t appear to do anything, I would have expected ...

„Super friendly and helpful staff throughout the building and attached restaurant. Slightly older decoration but clean and comfortable. Perfect location, just off main road. Large twin room was great for relaxing in.“

„My Daughter and I have just had a 2 night stay at the Forest Lodge having traveled up from Kent for a wedding. On arrival we were greeted and immediately were made to feel welcome , nothing was a problem , All the staff were amazing and we would like to say a huge thank you for making our stay so pleasurable . „I will definitely be back at the Red Lion when I’m next in the area, it’s a lovely pub and the rooms which are located just across the car park are excellent. They’re clean, comfy and small touches like crisps and biscuits top off a lovely place. The hosts are very nice and they’re very welcoming within the pub aswell which serves outstanding food. “
