Sehr zentral direkte Seitenstraße am Times Square. Alles fußläufig erreichbar, Shops, Essen, Musicals etc. Sehr quirlige Gegend. Hotel insgesamt annehmbar, mit Straßenlärm ist zu rechnen.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Das Zimmer war so dermaßen klein, dass wir froh waren, nur Handgepäck gebucht zu haben. 2 normale Koffer hätten wir gar nicht im Zimmer unterbringen können. So auch das Bett ... für 1 Person vollkommen ausreichend, für 2 aber zu klein. Ich bin sicher, es war eigentlich ein Einzelzimmer. Auch das Badezimmer war sehr klein, Toilettendichtung kaputt ( lief beim Abziehen Wasser raus ), genauso am Waschbecken ... der Boden nass. Und an den Fenstern lief im Bad und Wohnraum das Wasser herunter. Zudem die elektrische Leitung ( Lichtschalter ) in der Dusche ... sehr fragwürdige Sicherheit?!? Der Zimmerservice war super. Wünsche wurden sofort erfüllt,es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt am Times Square.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, Ich muss Ihnen leider mitteilen, dass unser Aufenthalt im Paramount am Times Square in keinerlei Hinsicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt hat! Wir waren dort ( allerdings vor langer Zeit ), als es noch ein sehr schönes Disignerhotel von Phillippe Starck war. Um so größer war unser Entsetzen, als wir ankamen und uns nach dem Einchecken ein Zimmer zugeteilt wurde, das aus zwei Schrankbetten ( ich wusste gar nicht, dass es so etwas noch gibt! ) , einem ausrangierten Sideboard und einem kleinen Fernsehgerät bestand. Auf meine Reklamation an der Rezeption, dass dies wohl kaum das Zimmer sein könnte, das ich zu diesem Preis für 12 Nächte gebucht habe und ich die Vermutung habe, dass das gar keine regulären Gästezimmer seien, wurde uns für den nächsten Tag ab 11.00h ein anderes Zimmer zugesagt. Dieses Zimmer war dann allerdings erst ab 16.00h beziehbar, so dass wir unser Gepäck erst einmal im locker room unterbringen mussten. Nach dem Umzug stellten wir fest, dass dieses Zimmer maginal besser war, dem Standard eines Hotels zu diesem Preis selbst in New York nicht ansatzweise entspricht! Der Raum und das Bad waren nur oberflächlich gereinigt worden ( Essensreste des Vorgängers sparen noch zu sehen, unter den Betten war schon sehr, sehr lange nicht mehr gesaugt worden ), Handtücher und übliche Hotelbad Accessoires waren gar nicht oder nur unzureichend vorhanden! Das ist vielleicht für manche Gäste, die nur ein oder zwei Nächte bleiben, akzeptabe

When we first got there they said the room we had booked was not available so they placed us in the captains room which was extremely small and not up to standard. That room was extremely hot. They said they would send someone up to check and did not. They ended up switching us to another room while stating that there was an issue with the havoc system in the room we were originally in and that room was not as hot as the captains room but still hot. We hardly slept. Worse hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Best thing about this hotel is it’s location - right at the centre of times square,We were able to frequent times square. Staff was great to acknowledge our request to give us room having less outside noise and good view. Good food options around. Many transportation options available too.

The hotel was fine, bed was comfy. There were some minor things with service that we weren't terribly impressed with. Front desk took forever to check us in and out. Might have just had some difficult customers ahead of us but the wait felt like it was longer than it needed to be. The lounge in the lobby was... odd. It was supposed to be sort of art deco but then they had these unusual super wide double sided couches. Our room didn't have wash cloths. Then the facility itself, everything was in a state of disrepair. Loose tiles in the bathroom, the soap holder and tp holder were broken. The sink faucet leaked around the base if you moved it the wrong way. There was a weird creepy door in our room, not sure where it led and I guess it was locked? We couldn't open it. But it was clean enough, and the location was great, easy walk to our show. I can't complain much really, it was fine. Nothing exciting though.

The only plus to thus is hotel is the locstion close to shows. The room as very small, had no hand or wash towels the body wash dispenser was empty and the bathroom was like a jsil cell. Would never stay here agsin.

We had to ask for towels everyday that they forgot. Maybe no clean hand towels left or face cloths. One day they forgot a bath mat. Every day it was something & had left a tip every day also. I have stayed here several times and never had a problem before.

Good hotel and nice welcome in the lobby by the staff and quick check-in, although same area had building work going on was not aware of, and bar was a little small with disinterested staff (considering how expensive a drink was). Room was ok but aged - battered air con unit, bathroom tap did not work properly either. The nice big comfy bed was good. Overall decent value versus other hotels in the same area I'd looked at. Is 2 mins walk from Times Square and all the tourist bits so certainly useful for that.

Rooms are not very good. Bathrooms are super tiny and sitting on the toilet is weird. The shower in my room flooded the bathroom because the curtain didn't do anything. It also feels like a prison bathroom. The room itself feels more like a hostel or dingy hotel. There was a 'service fee' that is just a waste of money and a scam. I was told it was for water, gym, bar, wifi, and restaurant. Wi-Fi is free. Water is just a water filter on the 4th floor. You get nothing from the bar and if you don't use the gym it's not worth it. Just a money grab. They also charge $2 an hour to hold luggage. I've never stayed in a hotel that does that. Oh, the safe didn't work either. They sell you on the property with the picture of the lobby which is ok. But I'm regards to the room itself, the only good things are a comfy bed, good wifi, and the TV works with Chromecast but the room itself is not so bueno. I've stayed here many times before while Mom business and it hasn't changed. If you need a place to stay for a day or two, I guess it's fine. But any longer?.. oh man... It gets rough. I would recommend for a quick stop with a decent rate except for the lame service fee and luggage hold fee. But that's about it.

The most basic room setup without an iron too. But it was easy checking in. For an overnight stay it’s not bad. I think the premium stay prices are definitely New York prices. Pretty much just paying for the location for being in the city center.

Not the best stay I’ve had in New York. Should’ve stuck with my usual hotel. Catfished by the pictures online, AC wasn’t working the first day, room service only FLIPPED sheets and called it a day. Toiletries like toilet paper was never added after the first night. Having to pay extra for luggage storage. All a mess.

If you love theatres, this hotel is perfect. It is surrounded by theatres. It is near time square as well as a lot of restaurants. The hotel has a very small room adequate if you will not hang out at the room but just to sleep the night and freshen up. The elevators are so slow. The place is old and looks outdated.

Hotel didn't hold my reservation. Offered me $80 off first night to stay in room without functioning A/C, but the offer was bogus. The facility charge showed up on my credit card, the discount never did. I said that I should not be charged at all for the first night and the manager agreed--but it was just to placate. Criminally dishonest.
