Gut: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
For the price we paid, this place deserves a 5 star!
We went not expecting much, as I was looking more for cheap prices than elegance. My fiancé and I had a great stay! The room was clean, it smell nice, everything worked with no problem. Bathroom wasn’t updated but toilet flush and shower had hot water which is all that matters. Breakfast was included and though it’s just a simple breakfast menu, it was nice to have coffee, muffin, cereal, toast and waffles available for free. (We did miss out on the orange juice BUT we weren’t there when it had just opened so that’s on us)
The location is about 30 min away from French Quarter so we did have to uber there and back. They have a pool and a little cute garden place where we were able to walk our dog. Everything was clean and nice!
There is a flea market open on the weekends and is located right behind the hotel, so we walked over. Now the walk there which is very close is not pretty. Lots of trash and glass on the side walk but honestly, it’s not something you don’t see anywhere.
Also, in our experience, we felt safe!
We would highly recommend it. We understood what we were paying for and weren’t expecting no 5 star hotel and though we understand that not everyone has the same experience, some prior review really make this place seem worse than what it is.
If you’re like us who just needs a cheap place to lay your head at night, free parking and not a bad uber fee to the French quarter, give this place a chance.
