North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks including Jackson Square (1.5 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (0.9 Miles), The National WWII Museum (2.8 Miles), and the famous Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.0 Miles).

The bungalow features two comfortable bedrooms, each with soft linens and cozy beds to ensure restful nights. Ample clothing storage is provided with closets and dressers, and extra pillows and blankets are available for added comfort. A full bathroom includes a bathtub, shower, bidet, and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.

Kitchen & dining
Home cooks will appreciate the fully stocked chef’s kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances including a Frigidaire electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and drip coffee maker. Free parking is available on the premises and on the street. Self check-in is easy with a smart lock, and exterior security cameras provide added peace of mind.
