Für die erste/letzte Nacht gut
Aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen und des kostenlosen Transport (selbst nachts!!) sehr praktisch. Wir sind erst im 5 Uhr im hotel angekommen und haben das Frühstück somit verschlafen. Das Hotel war so nett und hat uns dennoch um 13 Uhr noch ein kostenloses Frühstück serviert. Das fanden wir super nett! Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach gehalten und in unserem Zimmer (Nummer 2 - direkt neben dem Frühstücksraum) hat es leider modrig gerochen. Dennoch war es für die erste Nacht völlig ausreichend.

A hotel to feel well At the end of my travellings I booked at Oreeka Hotel again. Reasons: 1. very satisfied with my first stay on my arrival in Sri Lanke – 2. Very nice atmosphere to relax before flight back home – 3. Very reliable and free airport transfer, two times – 4. I liked the „Sri Lanka Special Rice and Curry“ very much. 5. Further more: Very timely and friendly e-mail traffic - free, punctual pick up at the airport - very nice facility in the countryside, close to the airport, but further away to the beach; very nice swimming pool - very fast check in with very friendly behavior - room: spacious room with a pleasant atmosphere; balcony, comfortable bed, room safe, kettle for making tea or coffee - bathroom: modern and spacious, weak jet of water on the shower - very good breakfast buffet - very, very friendly and attentive staff - dinner in the hotel restaurant delicious, plentiful and price was ok - security staff around the clock provides safe feeling - ideal for relaxing before or after a flight; of course, also for a longer stay, even with children.

Günstige Lage zum Flughafen
Preis/Leistung stimmen leider im Gastronomiebereich nicht überein. Vergleichsweise zu anderen Hotels sind Getränke unn Speisen hier relativ teuer und die Quaität sowie die Auswahl der Speisen rechtfertigen die Preise leider nicht. Wir waren am Ende einer 3-wöchigen Reise dort und haben deshalb viele Vergleichsmöglichkeiten.

Convenient and clean hotel near the airport
This is a hotel in a nice park-like environment 15 minutes from Colombo airport by free hotel shuttle. When getting to it from Colombo, you need to be make sure that your taxi driver or bus goes on the highway! It took our taxi driver 1:45 to get us there from Colombo Fort train station, while it should have taken about 40 minutes. We left at 5:30am and could not have breakfast. Dinner was fine but not exceptional. If you have extremely sensitive sleep, you can hear a few planes. I don't and I did not hear anything. The locale is very quiet otherwise. Staff are very friendly and helpful indeed. The manager arranged for the shuttle to take us at 5:30 and did not insist on the scheduled departure at 5:00 am. All in all, a convenient place to stay near the airport. If you want to spend an extra day, there is also a good-looking pool.

Sehr schön
Ich kam sehr früh im Hotel an, aber es war möglich gleich einzuchecken, was nicht immer selbstverständlich ist.. Sehr schön.. Die Anlage ist nett gestaltet.. Das Highlight ist der Pool.. Hab im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen, was eher durchschnittlich war.. Das Hotel ist vor oder nach Abreise sehr zu empfehlen..

Nettes Hotel Nähe Flughafen
Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer im Vergleich zu dem, was ich in 5 Wochen Sri Lanka gesehen habe, der pure Luxus. Hotel liegt sehr abgeschieden, aber praktisch in Flughafennähe und in einem schönen Garten.

Great value for money! A cheap Uber away from the airport and a huge room which exceeded expectations. Nice refreshing pool to dip into as well. Only shame was that we booked for airport pickup. Me and my friends all attempted to call the hotel 3 times in the week prior and the hotel was uncontactable. They only got back to us when my Uber to go to the hotel was booked! Breakfast is also very simple (toast, eggs, cut fruit, half a sausage) but good to get some food in before heading out for the day. That being said, it was great value to stay for the night. Would pop by again!

We were only there for a few hours to wash up and get some sleep before our 3 am flight the following morning. Although the hotel was old, it was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner was loud and the TV controls wouldn’t work but the staff replaced some of the equipment and got it working. The shuttle to the airport was on time and very efficient. It served the purpose that we wanted.

Recommend this hotel. Nice pool and the lady manager was friendly. I didnt like their pay first policy. Expedia had my credit card details so i couldnt have left without paying. Pity the restaurant took a long time to produce food even in a non busy time.

Un hôtel qui nous a offert tout le confort nécessaire à notre arrivée au sri lanka pour un prix très correct. Situé à 20mn en tuk tuk de l'aéroport nous y avons trouvé un personnel très agréable et accueillant. Endroit très sympa pour se remettre du voyage et commencer à découvrir le pays. Nous reprendrons sans doute cet hôtel lors de notre départ. Il possède une piscine ce qui est un plus ++

Vi ankommer til hotellet kl.16.15 og der er vores værelse ikke klar til check in og vi skal vente i 20 minutter. Værelset var rigtig fint og rummeligt. Der var frie hunde på grunden som mine børn blev bange for, men det er der mange steder på sti lanka. Vi fik rigtig fin mad i restauranten om aftenen. Om morgenen da vi skulle til lufthavnen kom chaufføren ikke til vores værelse som aftalt - efter 10 minutters forsinkelse fik receptionen vækket ham.

공항과 가까운지역이나, 너무 안쪽이여서 타 지역으로 이동시 택시잡기가 힘듭니다. 건물이 오래되어 전기를 꺼두 웅,,소리가 들렸습니다. 따뜻한물로 피로를 풀고싶었으나, 물이 안나왔습니다. 직원분들은 친절하십니다. 공항으로 픽드랍 서비스가 됩니다. 건물은 오래되었으나, 깨끗하지만, 리모델링이 시급합니다.

Stay before departing to airport.
Very warm welcome when we arrived. At check in we received a a welcome drink and also confirmed booking of our transport to the airport the morning. Room was clean and shower was good, air con was also working. So everything was great. Surrounded by beautiful gardens that are well maintained this was a lovely place for our last night. We didn't eat dinner at restaurant as we had had a large lunch before travelling up, so unable to comment on that. Breakfast was simple but hit the spot. Transport was ready and waiting on time and very short 10 mins or so trip to airport.

well... where to start? (not well). i finally heard from the hotel about the transfer driver who was to meet us outside the airport. after an hour thereabouts i had to call (a lovely chap let me use his phone). the driver said he was stuck in traffic and would be ten mins. waited another hour or so (could there be that much traffic - i was incredulous). it was around midnight and we'd been in travel limbo for about 24 hours. so, we caught a taxi. the taxi went round and round, couldn't locate the place... back and forth, round and round... out in the sticks. apparently, he'd driven past a few times but the sign was not illuminated, not turned on. the room... was mouldy, stank of mould. and next to the kitchen. no hot water. it's a vast property, so i wondered why we were put there. knew there would be early morning noises - they came at 6. overall, a lot of bother for a few hours' kip. on the plus side, it had a pleasant pool area.

Great choice for airport transfers
An excellent hotel for convenient access to the airport (BIA). The complimentary shuttle service is with a van so can fit lots of cases. Staff are welcoming and service is excellent. The rooms were clean, though the design did mean insects could still enter through gaps under doors etc. The AC and fan worked well, and there was tea/coffee in the room. One appeal when booking was the pool, but this does need more regular cleaning and new mats for the loungers, plus towels were not provided so you would need those from the room. The location did mean mosquitoes could be a distraction late afternoon/early evening. Food in the restaurant was very tasty so it meant an extra trip out was not needed, especially as the location meant nothing close by. Overall pleased with our stay.

Small independent operators struggling with tough times in Sri Lanka. They try to give a good service to their customers. Free airport pick-up/drop available. Close distance to the airport is an advantage. Rooms are spacious and fairly clean. However cannot be satisfied with basics such as the hot water didn't work in our room. So the kids couldn't have a shower after a long flight. There's no milk in the fridge, so, couldn't drink a cup of tea in the morning. TV channels are local ones only. They could've thought of those simple things. With those drawbacks, I think the amount they charge is slightly excessive!

On any normal visit this property would suffice and meet all needs, but i booked with the intention of having a good sleep before a long journey. I was in a room very close to a big wedding, and the music was very loud until small hours. Upon requesting a room change they moced me into a room next to a family with two very loud and hysterical children, despite the hotel being empty. Guests should be notified about a wedding, as this is a hotel mainly used to have a final moment of recovery before a long flight. I would not stay here again for this reason, though the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and food satisfactory. I appreciated the included airport transfer.

Perfect stay with airport transfer.
Booked for an airport stop over, I had complementary pick up from airport and breakfast included. Room was lovely, with water, tea and coffee provided and free wifi. Staff were amazing, friendly helpful service during stay. Had evening meal at their restaurant which was lovely, and relaxed by the pool during the day. I will definitely stay again.

Colombo airport hotel
Staff very friendly and welcoming. Pool is very nice. Offering airport shuttle is a huge benefit and one of the main reasons I chose to stay here. Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at inexpensive prices.
