This place has so much potential and it’s mostly beautiful, but we arrived to super sticky floors and sticky countertops. Most of the furniture has rips and stains on it and a few pieces were broken. The rugs were dingy, which with large stains in areas and the carpet in the downstairs bedroom had a lot of staining. One of the quilts had what looked like blood splatter on it. I didn’t receive the code prior to arrival so I had to reach out upon arrival. He did give me the access code, but it was a hassle to have to chase after the info. The Wi-Fi information was not displayed anywhere and we were busy so we waited to ask and then I was given the wrong information. The manager was nice but there was just poor communication. We were given the layout of the house and told there was a bedroom in the basement but little did we know the basement was actually more like a dungeon, with no windows or doors, which is incredibly unsafe. Pretty sure it’s not even legal to have bedrooms down there with no egress. No one felt safe sleeping down there so we had to share rooms and we were not prepared to do that, someone was even on the floor on a mattress upstairs. We are all family and tried to be positive so we still had a good time, despite all of this, I just wanted to share my experience in case somebody else was planning on that basement being a sleeping area, because I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
