„This chalet was everything we had hoped for. The place itself is large and clean and very comfortably fit our group of 14 - We could have easily fit 18. We saw some of the other reviews but found the place to be really well kept and loved the rustic charm of the older style furniture and wood panelling. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and cookware we could need to cook for such a big group. The pool table was nice and we adored all the fireplaces but nothing beats this hot ...

„Nous avons adoré notre weekend entre amis au chalet la Grande Ourse. Il y avait beaucoup de places et surtout BEAUCOUP de choses à faire qu’il fasse beau ou pluvieux. Tout y était! Nous y retournerons. :)“

„The property was a nice size and fit our extended family comfortably. However, the place was quite run down. The dishwasher broke (someone did come fairly quickly to repair), the bathrooms were not as clean as I would like, an alarm kept going off downstairs and the porch was old and some wood pieces broke. The lake access is only attainable by driving as is the pool. We would not go back or recommend.“

„This was our second time staying here and everything was wonderful. The kitchen is loaded, the accommodations wonderful and the lake spectacular. Over the weekend we had 9 adults and an infant and we had plenty of room to spread out. We also had an excellent meal in town at a lovely local restaurant. We did have one issue after a particularly heavy rainstorm on our last day. The host was very responsive and accommodating at resolving the issue All in all a great summer getaway!“

A top pick if you're traveling with your furry friend and want something different (or better) than a standard hotel experience. Kitchenette amenities within each room are also a big plus.“

„Beautiful property ! Hosts were very accommodating with requests I made. Not a house to party in but rather a lovely place to relax. Used it for overflow of guests at our cottage which was 3 minutes away. Would recommend this property for a beautiful stay at Ste. Anne des Lacs which is 1 hour from Montreal and close to ski hills and lakes.“
