âThe Catalina Island Inn was a perfect location and had great accommodations for my husband, myself and our 8 and 10 year old granddaughters. I would definitely recommend it with or without grandchildren.
It was close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Catalina offers a number of fun things, walking, golf cart rentals, glass bottom boat rides, and mini golf.
Of course, the highlight was a pod of dolphins following ferry from Santa Monica. â

âJackie and Daniel were the receptionist working while we stayed there and they were so sweet and nice about everything. They made our stay easy and comfortable my husband and I both agreed we would stay there again. Room was a little small but it wasnât a big issue, other than that we loved it. Yes you can hear people hanging outside in the chair by the room but we are heavy sleepers so that didnât affect us either â

"Das Hotel ist ziemlich neu und entsprechend stylisch eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr neuwertig und modern. Man fĂŒhlt sich super wohl. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross, die Betten bequem und praktisch jedes Zimmer genieĂt Sicht aufs Meer. Wenn auch nur seitlich. Gym ist ebenfalls gross und gut eingerichtet. Poolbereich ebenfalls top! 2 kleine Kritikpunkte: Wir kamen am Sonntag an und am Pool waren ca 1/3 aller Liegen mit âreserviertâ gekennzeichnet, jedoch sind die LiegestĂŒhle bis am Abend leer geblieben.
Zweiter Punkt: wir wurden jede Nacht kurz nach 4uhr von einem lauten GerÀusch geweckt. Keine Ahnung was es war, aber es war sehr laut.
Dennoch ein super Hotel mit sehr gutem Preis Leistung VerhÀltnis. "

The hotel noted that it has a new owner and is under renovation. I think it needs to change a lot in order for it to get up to date and comfy.
Overall the quality of the hotel compared to others we saw was not good for the rate they charged.
Also the breakfast provided was Motel-6 level: all prepackaged snacks. No fresh tea water (it comes thru Keurig coffemaker), no fresh milk, fruit or bread.
