Check-in was easy and initially staff. We were able to leave our luggage there before checking in since we got there early and explore and walk around.
Our luggage was brought to the room which was fairly clean. The room was a bit stuffy, but once the air was turned on it was fine. Sliding glass door leading out to the balcony does not lock.
I called down to the front desk area to asked about which room we got since it did not look like the description from what I booked through Expedia. I got the newly remodeled Superior room which was supposed to have a fireplace and a bit bigger, but ended up with a Deluxe (there is a size and pricing difference). The older lady who initially checked us in answered when I called to inquire about it and she told me that it was the Deluxe room. I informed her that I booked the Superior which she got defensive and said that I only booked for 2 and had 3 people. The room stated it can sleep 3 with free rollaway bed and did not give me the option to add a 3rd person on the site. She then continued to reprimand me stating that she had the right to cancel my room because I only said 2 people when I booked the room and continue to say that Expedia says that Deluxe and Superior room were the same. Which is not true since Expedia gave me the option to pick different rooms at different prices (Superior and Deluxe being different in the choices given). Not happy with the way I was spoken to, but stay was decent and other staff were nice.
