The outdoor hanging aircon was horrible loud. The front desk could not help to get a quieter room, even so Hotel was not fully booked.

Room was extremely nice . No in house parking so 11 plus dollars to park 15 hours. Several homeless walking in the area and food was limited due to being over packed. McDonald’s was bare bones in the sitting area with no condiments or soda machines. Housing was historic and very nice to look at.

Location is great! Downside: Parking - is a parking garage next door, pay extra for parking. Mold in the shower and shower head is a rain one so it takes forever to get shampoo out. Under construction - the lobby is non existent, glad it was only a one night stay. When completed it will be very nice and I am sure the prices will increase. I would stay again - just when construction is over.

Was a very short stay literally just sleeping over agter a wedding so didnt get to experience much but it was nice! Currently renovating so that makes things tricky but good experience.

Absolutely stunning room! Renovations done are phenomenal! Decor and high quality beds and fixtures are beautiful! Great location for walking to everything downtown! Price is very reasonable. Also, they gave us a bottle of champagne to welcome us!

I have stayed here in the past and everything was great; rooms are very comfortable. However, I was notified of renovations when I booked, but was not notified of the extent until driving in/check in. No lobby, no dining on site, one elevator, no valet as before. The staff tried to accommodate, but I was not expecting the conditions based on the rate I paid. I’m sure it will be back to the norm once renovations are complete.

It was still under renovation, so that didn't have a full service. A few things though were that 1) it had strong chemical smell (maybe from the construction but not easy to put up with), 2) it didn't have own parking space (though a public parking is close by), and 3) it didn't provide a receipt since I booked it through the Expedia (the 3rd party).

Thank you so much for your honest feedback. I am unsure of the chemical smell but will have my engineering team look into your room to see if they can find the culprit. As for parking, unfortunately, at this time we do not have onsite parking , but the lots used for private parking will be the same ones in use for the hotel. We are working to streamline the process and will have it implemented soon.

Only have a 4star on the amenities and condition because they are going through a major renovation. Which they give notice of before you book. We love The Admiral Hotel and it is our go to when staying in Mobile.

The Bellman, Chaz was extremely nice and went above and beyond to help us with our luggage which was greatly appreciated. The two Gentlemen and young lady at the front desk were also friendly and welcoming. I hate that the hotel did not have any microwaves in the rooms or even to use in the facility.

The hotel location makes it walkable to all of downtown and the cruise ship port. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff was very nice.

They claim to be under construction..but we saw none. Due to construction.. there is no lounge/bar or restaurant... there is no complimentary breakfast.. and they dont have a parking lot at all... you have to pay $10 at a garage nearby. This needs to be known before booking.
