Sandy Pelican is a lovely 3BR, 2BA cottage, conveniently located in Maravilla Resort, just across the street from beautiful Miramar Beach. The cottage features a spacious living area, 9 foot ceilings, a washer and dryer, and a cozy back patio for enjoying the beautiful night breeze and warm sunny days! Families with children, or seniors will enjoy the ease of staying in a one-level property. The master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bath with dual vanities and a walk-in shower. This cottage sleeps 6 guests comfortably having a guest bedroom with a king bed, and a second guest bedroom with a queen bed. Take a stroll to one of the two pools, hot tub, fitness center, tennis, basketball and deed beach frontage. 

Maravilla Resort in Miramar Beach is a 33 acre, gated resort featuring the largest private beach in the area — 2.5 acres of private pristine beach! Maravilla Resort has family oriented vacation rentals. It is a relaxed resort community, and it is less crowded than the downtown Destin area. Maravilla Cottages within Maravilla Resort offer guests privacy and space, while still allowing access to the fabulous amenities. Many folks enjoy the view of the ocean from the beachside pool at Maravilla Resort. Plus, another large pool is located by the clubhouse for a relaxing day of sun! You will also love the tennis courts, basketball court and the shuffleboard area. Please note: renters are not allowed to drive golf carts in the Maravilla community.

Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both Sandestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers a number of boutiques, and dining options.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!
