the first room was disgusting. When I first walked in. It was a very strong smell of cigarettes. I try to turn on the light. The light would not turn on. There was only one lamp that had a lightbulb when examining the bathroom I found hair inside a very filthy tub when I went to go and pull back the covers to check there was hair inside there as well I went to the front desk and asked for a different room because that room was unsuitable. I was given another room when I walked in the smell was horrendous. I proceeded to go and check the bathroom. The bathtub was filthy like it had never been clean before there was snot inside the sink that was dried in there. The bed smelled really bad. I didn’t even wanna look under the covers the walls were filthy. I could not stay there. I put then proceeded to the front desk and tell them I cannot stay here. I want a refund front desk just gave me an ugly look made me feel very uncomfortable for asking for a refund. Then I asked how often are these rooms cleaned he said he don’t know. He’s just the front desk, my husband was forced to find me a hotel at 1 AM in the morning and had to pay double the amount that I paid at La Quinta because it was a short notice and I did not have any reservations for the next two days. This is my first time ever traveling by myself, and it was one of the worst experiences ever, especially at this hotel staff should be trained properly rooms should be cleaned immediately and detailed fixture should fixed
