„Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.

„Fantastic place to stay food fantastic so was stafe and service .rooms maybe a wee bit to warm .also our room was right above a generator but it did settle latter in the night .didnt like the step at the bathroom quite dangerous .alarge mirror in the bathroom would have been Lovley putting all that a side i will be back and i will be recommending it to freinds .“

"Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover."

During Checkout, the receptionists were unable to produce an invoice. I wanted to know how much and for what I would be charged.
