Chalets in Michigan

„What mostly started well turned sour. First it was the lack of generator when the power went out during a winter storm. Then it was the owners continuously checking on us. Now the owners are filing an inflated claim for cosmetic wear and tear (light scratches that would occur on a brushed black stair case that can easily be sprayed with thin coat of paint or poly). “

„We had an amazing time here! Loved every minute of the stay, and Amy was a fantastic host! We got to experience the snowstorm of the decade (3 feet of snow in 2 days), and we were warm & cozy here the whole time. Love the setup of the living-kitchen-dining space, made the perfect areas to have family time, games, and enjoy the fireplace. Beds were super comfy. Love the loft area for reading. Great views. Beautiful road for snowy walks. We hope to come back again! Thanks Amy for a great stay!“

„The unit was perfect for large group - especially kids. The host responded quickly to questions. The parking lot and sidewalk was extremely icy, no fault of the host as weather was unpredictable. The location is perfect ski in - ski out. Someone left trash bag on porch off of bedroom - but still no fault of host. There was a broken glass on corner of entrance - I feel someone slipped and broke glass - I think the location and experience was great for my kids. “

„Had a wonderful stay, everything we needed was there! Hot tub was fabulous, clean and a nice addition! Only recommendation I would have is the pillows and mattresses were not comfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch which was more comfortable than the master bedroom mattress. A lot of tossing and turning. But with that said, everyone’s level of mattress comfort is different, we prefer a softer mattress while others may appreciate a harder mattress! Not a deal breaker at all!  ...

„The cabin sits on a bluff with a fantastic view of the Thornapple River. We loved how close it was to everything, and yet it felt like a retreat. The host couldn’t be more accommodating.“

„Great place, very close to th ski hill, which is what we wanted. Host was very accommodating with wanting a late checkout. Only downfall was the Asian beetles which were everywhere, but he did tell us about them before, which helped. Would have been nice to have a couch to sit on in the living room. Not much living room space. “
