Reliable hotel for proximity to the Cloef
The location is probably the main thing and it must be less than 10 minutes' walk to the Cloef lookout. Not much else in town. The hotel has parking around the side, an overly fancy restaurant, spa, free breakfast was a pretty ordinary spread but did the job. The staff are very good and speak good English. The room was quite large, had a balcony with no views, two single beds pushed together (always a disappointment) and a large and good bathroom. The minibar was free including some beer and wine. The wifi was pretty slow and had the usual German problem of needing to delete custom DNS servers and manually navigating to 192.168.1.1 to get the login screen to come up. Anyway, it's a good value hotel if you want to visit the Saarschleife.

Very nice hotel and great restaurant...
It was a pleasant stay at all, no major problems, neither a regret. Staff was helpful and sweet. Swimming pool and the garden were really good, but the best thing in this hotel is the restaurant, don't miss it!

Von Check in bis zum Check out gelungener Aufenthalt! Das Hotel ist sehr schön, wunderbar gelegen mit einem großen Spa-Bereich - ideal zum runterkommen! Das Personal und der Service einwandfrei und sehr zuvorkommend! Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig besonders hat uns der Wirpool gefallen. Das Essen war sehr gut ob Frühstück oder Abendessen.

Tolles Hotel an der Saarschleife
Ein tolles Hotel mit sehr gutem Service und sehr gutem Essen, eine wahre Perle des Saarlandes fußläufig zur Saarschleife. Man fühlt sich einfach zu Hause! Im Moment liegt man in den letzten Zügen mit den Um-, Aus- und Neubauarbeiten, was aber nicht störte. Eventuell sind darauf die starken Kochgerüche im gesamten Flurbereich des Hauses zurückzuführen.

Herzlich, aber zu laut
Positiv: Katzensprung bis zur Saarschleife. Sehr freundliches, herzliches Personal. Schöner Wellnessbereich indoor. Ambiente ganz Landhaus. Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl an gesunden Produkten, vor allem sehr leckere Brote. Negativ: direkt an der Hauptstraße. Zu laut, um Fenster zu öffnen. Keine Klimaanlage, dadurch viel zu warmer Raum, um zu schlafen. Wellness outdoor Bereich zwar schön, aber wegen der Hauptstrasse einfach zu laut, um entspannen zu können. Was auch etwas ärgerlich war, sind Berechnungen für Abendessen: nur die Spaghetti mit frischer Pesto, was als Beilage für Rindspiesse angebote wurde, wollten wir als Hauptgericht des 3 Gangmenü, wurde statt Euro 19,- (mit Spiesse) sage und schreibe mit Euro 26,- verrechnet. Bin kein Geizkragen, aber geht es ums Prinzip.

Alles ausser der Wellnesbereich war top.Der handgeschriebene Zettel am Welnessbereich, das ist ein kostenloses Zusatzangebot. Von einem 4Sterne Hotel erwarte ich ein Wellnessbereich.

Unser kleiner Wellnessbereich hat 500 qm , wie überall angegeben, mit Pool 12x6 m, Lounge mit Tee von Gepa-Äpfel und Wasser, Dampfbad, Sauna, Wellnessdusche, Wärmebank etc. Im Wellnessbereich gibt es keine handgeschriebene Zettel. Scchade, daß sie sich nicht wohlgefühlt haben.

Gehobenes Landhotel zum entspannen
Wir hatten eine Woche zum entspannen und Abstand vom Alltag zu bekommen. Nettes Willkommen und auch der Service ist aufmerksam. Kurze Strecken nach Luxemburg Trier zur Völklinger Hütte und Mettlach Genossen haben wir die Relaxtage mit Sonnen im Garten und Nutzung des Wellnessbereichs.

Aussichtspunkte Saarschleife zu Fuß zu erreichen. Geräumiges Zimmer. Hotel liegt allerdings direkt an der Hauptstraße - besser Zimmer nach hinten oder seitlich wählen. Direkt gegenüber Ust ein italienisches Restaurant und eine Eisdiele. Frühstücksbüffet ist gut. Hallenbad relativ groß und ruhige Atmosphäre. Zugang zur Liegewiese im Garten

Uitstekend hotel in rustige omgeving
Het hotel bood ons een mooie ruime en schone kamer met een goed bed. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijtbuffet was zeer uitgebreid en goed. Voor een bezoek aan de Saarschleife en het gebied van drielandenpunt: Duitsland, Frankrijk en Luxemburg heeft dit hotel een ideale ligging. In het dorp Orscholz is bijzonder weinig te beleven. Het nabij gelegen Mettlach en Merzig maken een hoop goed. Metz (Frankrijk) ligt op een uur rijden en is zeer de moeite waard te bezoeken. Prima 4-sterren hotel en waar voor je geld.

Reine Übernachtung;leider war der SPA-Bereich nach 20 Uhr nicht mehr zugänglich. Dafür war das angenehme Schwimmbad am Morgen leer, so dass ordentlich geschwommen werden konnte.

Kurzurlaub Saarschleife
Wir waren für eine Nacht da, um uns den Baumwipfelpfad und die Saarschleife anzusehen. Sehr freundliches Personal, hervorragendes Frühstück und sehr leckeres Essen im Restaurant. Einziger Wermutstropfen war das Fehlen des Toppers im Boxspringbett und die doch sehr harten Bettlaken.
