„Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out.“

„Room was clean but dated and could do with a refresh. Evening meal was excellent, I had the steak & Malbec pie and it is one of the best pies I have ever eaten. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, there were two of us and one wanted black pudding and one didn’t but neither got any, nor did we get the fried bread, there were only two juices available, orange and apple (I think) but the orange juice ran out and not replenished although there were staff around. You could have tea or coffee by request ...

„We had a lovely three night stay at Lancaster Cottage to see out 2025. The cottage was so welcoming and cosy - exactly what we were looking for. The decor and interiors really add to the atmosphere and make it feel like a home away from home. Katie has truly thought of everything, from games to all the helpful information you might need in the guest manual. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lancaster Cottage and would love to return.“

„The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Location was terrific, with lots of great shops and restaurants. One thing to be aware of is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the flat. That was a bit of a surprise, but we were able to manage it.“

In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. „It’s a really cute place to stay. Beautiful views and garden with a lovely canal side walk nearby. Nicely designed inside and Steve, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have been able to stay longer.“
