    Dieses charmante Einfamilienhaus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern befindet sich in idealer Lage im Herzen von Sombrero Beach und ist nur 7 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Dieses Haus bietet einen privaten, optionalen Wärmepool inmitten eines wunderschön angelegten Grundstücks und ist die perfekte Wahl für einen erholsamen Keys-Urlaub.

    Die Hauptwohnebene verfügt über eine aktualisierte, voll ausgestattete Küche und einen komfortablen, offenen Grundriss.
    Der Mail-Wohnbereich beherbergt auch 2 Schlafzimmer; Eines mit einem Queensize-Bett und das andere mit 2 großen Betten. Diese Zimmer teilen sich ein geräumiges Gästebad.

    Auch auf der Postebene freuen sich die Gäste über eine großzügige, abgeschirmte Veranda, die sich perfekt für Mahlzeiten im Freien, Kaffee am Morgen oder einen erfrischenden Cocktail am Nachmittag eignet.

    Die obere Ebene dieses Hauses beherbergt das dritte Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Vollbad. Dieses Schlafzimmer hat eine kleine Terrasse mit herrlicher Aussicht.

Convenient location to Sombrero Beach, great walking area & convenient to shops. Plenty of parking for several cars and a boat trailer. Beautiful, spacious dock & pool with plenty of foliage and wildlife to enjoy. Charming house was clean, comfy beds & lots of towels and dishes. Our only complaint was the intermittent wifi. Definitely would stay again!

Manatee House

Another successful family vacation and a week in Paradise! This was the first trip to the keys for my grandchildren and they loved it. They named the house the manatee house because of our little visitors we had in the evening time. The house was perfect and just as described. I have been coming down to the keys for 10yrs and this was by far one of my favorite houses. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us, a lot of memories were made the week!

Easy check-in and out process. Good location on the canal. Recommend future renters bring your own towels. We were thankful we brought our own. House only includes a few older towels. All in all it’s a nice place to stay with family & friends.

Perfect Location!

This house was a perfect fit for my family and friends during our Spring Break! The location was wonderful! We were walking distance to Sombrero Beach which we noticed would get very busy and difficult to find parking. It also has a Publix at the end of the road and a light to go out to the main road which was such a help with how bad traffic can be. The pool area was private and a beautiful landscape for family photos. We even had a daily visit from a local iguana which was fun to see! The property management was extremely friendly, attentive and quick to respond to any of our questions! Check in and check out couldn’t have been easier. We had 4 adults and 3 children and this property was exactly what we hoped for!

Exactly as pictured.

Great property, well managed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. Marathon is very much a fishing and boating village, so that is the primary attraction. I do wish the property offered something in the way of beach chairs and umbrella for trips to Sombrero Beach or Bahia Honda for those of us that flew in. Florida Keys Steak and Lobster and Sparky's Landing are restaurants to consider. Nor'easter Fishing charter was superb.

Was an excellent home and property for my family of 6 to enjoy. Loved 5 minute walks to Sombrero beach, coffee on screened porch each morning, and poolside cookouts in the evening. Landscaping is peaceful. Would have liked beach chairs/ toys and fishing gear to use with the kids.

Wonderful Home!

Lovely indoor and outdoor space. Kids loved the resident iguanas, screened porch was fantastic when gnats came out in the evening, interior was spacious and airy, proximity to Sombrero beach was perfect (and what a gorgeous beach it is!). Had a rental boat so the dock was key and we enjoyed every bit of our stay at the house and our and about in the beautiful Florida Keys. Sombrero Reef was incredible!

Great location and backyard!

The house was perfectly located. Close to the beach and any shops or restaurants you’d need. The privacy of the backyard was fabulous. Perfect size home for our family of 5 with bait freezer, stocked kitchen utensils, pool area and dock. House did have a slightly musty smell and kitchen especially needed a quick clean when we arrived. Linens/pillows also a bit dated. None of this however was enough for us to not rent this place again!

Easy walk to Sombrero Beach. Very convenient to grocery, liquor store, nature adventures and restaurants. Loved the pool and canal areas. Easy deliveries of and nice area to kayak and boat. Fairly updated home. Room temperature was difficult to regulate. Landscaping attempts to give privacy but proximity to neighbors is very close - can hear all conversations, music, etc. Check-out expectations far exceeded anything we have ever encountered in the 15 years of renting in the Keys.

Very nice house with a great boat dock & pool! We had only 1 small complaint & that was with the TV. We only had service & use of the main TV on the 1st night. After that 1st night we weren't able to get service. Also, it would be nice if there were directions on how to use the TV & it's remotes. Otherwise, it was a great house!

Lovely week enjoying this home. Nice dock on deep canal for our boat. Beautiful backyard with cute pool, grills. Upstairs screened deck with chairs. Lovely home that was pristine ... the cleaning crew needs a bonus! The owners equipped the home with everything we would need, including beach towels and big freezer downstairs for ice and your day's catch. Yard well maintained. Very pleased with owners and property management. Quiet neighbors. Close to Sombrero Beach and Publix. We've always stayed in Key West, but thought we would try Marathon. Very happy with our decision and would love to stay at this gone again.

Great vacation home in a great location.

We just finished a great week in Marathon at this home with two families, including four kids. We had a great time. The kids were in the pool for at least 3 hours each day. It really is in a great location, away from the highway and commercial area, and a quick walk to the beach. There is a well-lit walking trail right in front of the house that is so convenient. We enjoyed the easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Marathon itself seemed clean and neat, without being pretentious. It had just the right amount of laid-back "island" feel without being run-down and trashy. I think we picked the best key for our first Keys trip. The home was cozy, clean, and well decorated and had everything we needed. Only a few items that you might hope to have: The bathrooms are all upstairs from the pool level, so plan accordingly - however, there is an outdoor shower/rinse down area. Beach towels are not included, so for your beach trips you'll need to bring your own. It would have been nice to have some fishing tackle onsite, especially for the kids. The management company was great to work with - promptly answering emails and phone calls and even checking in during the week to be sure everything was going well. I believe this property is for sale, so I just hope it's still available for rent the next time we make it to Marathon (and that can't be too soon).

Right before booking my accommodations with American Caribbean Real Estate one of my coworkers booked her vacation property with a different company only to find out that it was a scam and they took her money without actually owning the property they promised to rent her. The company appeared to be legitimate, was registered through the state, and for all appearances looked legitimate. Needless to say I was very nervous when we booked ours after hearing her story. I had never worked with American Caribbean Real Estate before and was very nervous that I too would be victim of a scam, because as I do not live locally there was not really a concrete way to verify existence or ownership. I was so impressed with the company throughout the contract process, and once we arrived down for our vacation they were incredibly easy to deal with. They called me several days prior to my arrival to verify we were coming and to ensure we had their location and hours. They also called me while we were driving as they had heard of some bad traffic and wanted to check our timeframe. Once we got to their office we were in and out in ten minutes, there were no long waits or shuffling of paperwork- all was organized and ready to go. They also called once we got to the house to ensure all was in working order and that we did not need anything additional. I was so incredibly impressed with their professionalism and their customer service, we will definitely be using them for all of our rentals in their area going forwards. It is so comforting to have a company that is honest, trustworthy and focused on ensuring that we had a great vacation.

We would definitely stay at this home again!

We recently stayed at this property for one week with three generations under one roof, and everyone from the grandparents to the grandkids had a great time. The house was perfect for the six of us, but would even sleep eight comfortably with the twin bunk beds in the third bedroom. The canal provides ocean access to a boat with about about a 10-minute ride, with a good bonefish flat just a mile to the east and the Seven Mile Bridge a mile to the west for fishing. Sombrero beach is a two-minute ride down the road, and all the best restaurants in Marathon are within a 10-minute car ride. Bahia Honda State Park, which is one of the best beaches in the Keys, is just a 15-minute drive west. Marathon is an ideal location because you are an hour from both Key West and Key Largo, so whether you are looking for the fun of Key West of the snorkeling of Pennekamp State Park, both are easily accessible. The backyard is lushly landscaped and private, so you can easily find a spot in the shade or the sun to relax - and there is plenty of sun to keep the pool warm (hot even) in the summer. You really have to struggle to see if any of the neighbors are in the backyard with the placement of all the trees. We would definitely stay at this home again!
