ROAD ACCESS
The road leading up to the chalet is a paved road with one switchback (V-turn) along the way. Unless there is heavy snow, we do not need chains or 4WD to get to the chalet! The town takes care of keeping the road drive-able with snow plowing when it snows.

Living Room
The living room is designed to bring everyone together with modern decor, and has a 3-seater couch and two single seaters in front of the flat-screen TV. The electric fireplace is a focal point of the room and adds a warm glow to the space on cool evenings. The living room is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass doors and gets a lot of sunshine in the afternoons and provides amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Dining Table
Comfortably seats 6 and the island is a 2-Seater.

Bedrooms
Primary Suite (Bedroom 1) : King Bed with Flat screen TV + Roku. Master Closet is huge with ample space and Luggage Rack. Wake up to Magnificent Mountain Views!

Bedroom 2 with King Bed and Smart TV with Roku and closet and full - length mirror. Wake up to more Magnificent Mountain Views!

Bedroom 3 serves as a Game Room and bedroom with Queen over Queen Bunk Beds, Personal Closet with Storage, and Smart TV with Roku. This room is accessed via the deck and is detached from the main living area. Gives perfect seclusion to parents while kids enjoy with the games!

Curtains: All of the rooms have light-blocking curtains. Some light bleeds thru' in the afternoon - please bring eye masks if light is bothersome in the afternoon.

Bathrooms: Having access to multiple bathrooms is important. The 2 bathrooms spread across the home make it easy for guests to unwind from a busy day. The bathrooms feature tub/shower combos, and vanities with ample storage, and high-quality towels.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need. This includes coffee maker/Keurig, Instapot, blender, toaster, oven, cook top, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, pots/pans, strainer, dishes, glasses, utensils, wine glass, silver ware, bakeware, separate utensils for kids.
The open-concept layout allows multiple guests to use the space without feeling cramped or crowded.

Coffee Bar:
Coffee Lover's Coffee station with a Keurig/Coffee Maker Combo. K-Cups and Organic Coffee provided.

Starter Pack:
We provide a starter pack consisting of dishwasher tabs, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and a kitchen sponge. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash is also provided in every bathroom.

HotTub:
5 person Hot Tub in the lower level. The hot tub is for guests 25 and over only. Minors (under 18) may use the hot tub ONLY under DIRECT adult supervision. Glass containers and alcohol are not allowed in the hot tub. Please do not use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or if you are pregnant. Using the hot tub is AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Deck Railing:
Do not climb on, or lean over deck railings, serious injury could result from a fall.

Outdoor Space:
Big groups need a lot of space to spread out, and this luxury chalet offers both indoor and outdoor lounge areas so everyone can relax in comfort. After a day of hiking and exploring, swing away in the swings in the upper deck and take in the natural beauty. Families can sit out here, chat and play games surrounded by mountains

Lower Level Deck has the Hot Tub, Picnic Table, Hammock and Propane grill is provided for guest use.

Laundry
Washer and dryer is located in the main floor.

Pets
Dog friendly retreat - We do allow pets and request you to reach out to Host before booking. Due to the HOA rules, we can only host up to 2 fur babies with weight no more than 25 lbs each. $55 Pet fee per pet per night (please notify host before or during booking if bringing in your fur baby).
If you are found to bring in a pet without notifying Host, there will be a fine of $500.

If you have a service animal, please get in touch with us BEFORE booking. We will make every effort to accommodate SAs as per the ADA.

NO LIGHT POLLUTION
Enjoy stargazing under the pristine clear night sky!

There is an exterior security camera in place (pointing at the driveway) for your protection. If you touch or tamper with the camera you will be asked to leave the property immediately. This is for your protection!

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire chalet and all of the amenities. Your check-in will be touchless utilizing Smart Locks to access.
This luxurious chalet has NO homeowner on-premise to disturb you or your privacy. NO shared yards, patios, or other areas! Guest will have access to the entire property.

Other things to note
You will enjoy breathtaking unobstructed mountain views 3350 ft elevation!
There is wildlife in the area like deers, ground hogs, raccoons, and occasional bears. You can see and hear critters. Please do not feed the wildlife.
Mountain Moonlight is located in the heart of Maggie Valley and under 30 minutes from Downtown Asheville (28 miles).

Trip Insurance:
Please buy insurance for bad weather related cancellations or any unforeseen situation outside the hosts' control. Good place to start: Generali Travel Insurance. Note - No refunds will be made without trip insurance. No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power/ internet / cell phone network
outages/other things that are beyond our control.

The cabin has four HD TVs with Rokus with free channels and streaming channels. There is a TV in each bedroom. Don’t miss your favorite movie or sporting event. Bring your logins! We do not have cable but there are free channels to watch on the Roku TVs
Cabin has Hi-Speed Internet. Bring your streaming platform passwords and enjoy the shows you watch!
Luxury hotel bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths are provided. There are hair dryers in all two baths. Linens also provided.
Fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops and Stainless Steel appliances.
Insta Pot, Blender, Waffle Maker, Toaster, Coffee Station with K-Cups and Organic Coffee provided for your convenience. Crockery and Silverware for full meal service for up to 10 people. Separate utensils for the kiddos.
Separate Laundry room with stackable Washer and Dryer in the main level. Ample area to store laundry.Two irons in the cabin with an iron station in the main level.
High-chair provided for the little ones. Safety of our guest is our first priority and the Cabin comes with First aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke alarms.

Everyone will enjoy and have fun in the detached game room/3rd Bedroom.

SOME NOTES ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN LIVING:
Cell service may be spotty. Some roads in the general area may be twisty and winding. You will likely see bugs, furry critters and wildlife (including bears!). We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters.
There are no refunds for storms or power outages. Winter Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc. We will try and help you and ensure your stay remains pleasant even during times where things go beyond our control

PLEASE NOTE: Fall/Winter is Lady bug season in the Mountains and these little bugs are attracted to heat, meaning your chalet and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the houses and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes.
Note: This is the mountains and WiFi and cell phone service can sometimes be spotty and lose service. If the internet does go out, try power cycling the router first. We highly recommend you download maps of the area offline prior to arriving.
