„We spent 2 nights at this cozy cottage - the exterior is beautiful and the interior is super cozy! The space is a bit smaller than I expected compared to the photos, but we didn’t mind at all. It was a perfect fit for our family of 4! I only wish I had more of a chance to spend time on the gorgeous outdoor deck to take in more of the stunning views. Would highly recommend!“

„This property is located in the beautiful hills above Santa Cruz. The setting on a creek is gorgeous. The cabins are small but clean and have an outside seating area. The host, Emkay, is awesome!“

„We absolutely loved our stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. This place is nestled within the redwoods and is an absolute gem. The house and property are tailored to ensure a peaceful and relaxing vacation. And, the hosts are very welcoming and communicated exceptionally. Overall, 10/10 recommend!“

„I would go back, but not in the main house unless they resolve the soundproofing. The main house is directly attached to their office, and unfortunately, the noise from the office carried straight through the wall. It often felt like the conversations—both phone and in-person—were happening inside our cabin. „Very pretty location with lovely picture window overlooking the creek and redwoods. Comfortable bed. Quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen except a wine opener is needed. Not their fault that Oct 2 was a 104 degrees but a workable A/C would have made it better. It did cool down at night so would still recommend this home. “

„Overall, the little cabin at Masood’s Lodge was quaint and fairly well kept. Lots of areas set up to enjoy outside location. However, the linens or mattress in the bedroom smelled absolutely terrible (not sure if mattess had been vomited on at some point—there was no mattress pad on the bed to protect it) and did not want to use it. That is what ruined the stay for me. Everything else was fine.“

„The host, Ali, was great and accommodating. Thank you! He responded to questions quickly. After our stay there in early August, we agreed with the other reviews that it got too hot inside during the day without air conditioning. But the evenings did cool off and there was a supply of fans. Our biggest concern was that the cleaning service used perfumed laundry soap and cleaning products that were pretty strong smelling. „We loved our stay at Emkay’s place. Nice and quiet with a great little wooded beach to access as well as hot tub to use. Emkay was friendly and easy to communicate with. We spent so much time exploring the area, it was so nice to have such a clean and comfortable place to land each night. Would stay again!“
