I wanna start by saying this place is _ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! If you’re looking for something to throw you into the true capetown life this is it. It is however extremely small it’s a 1 bed term think a bit larger than those places you see in New York. The only doors are the front. The back (to the patio) and the bathroom there is to a bedroom door it’s like sliding glass. I stayed with my boyfriend for a little over 2 months and Phillip was phenomenal he gave great recs and had a house keeper on hand. Ben at the gate was always amazing and they helped keep our extra bags safe while we stayed out of town. There so many plants it adds an element you can’t fake and thank goodness my boyfriend had a green thumb or I would have been evicted but Phillip tells you everything you need to know. Someone definitely lives here there is decor EVERYWHERE to the point you have little spots to places your things that is somewhat different but you make it work. It’s seconds from long street and amazing restaurants in the city! You’re right in the square whic in a courtyard that everyday set up and every night beak down. Some days it was very frustrating but overall I think it gave us a beautiful understanding of the hustle and work ethic of the people of Cape Town! Phillips place gives you a space to feel right at home and there is truly nothing like it! I would recommend this place to any friends or couples I know to stay here because it’s 10/10 and 1 of a kind!
