Nestled in a peaceful setting, this beautiful sanctuary with an ocean view offers the perfect getaway for relaxation and fun. There's a separate guest house on the property, but it's not included in your rental. A tenant lives there long-term and doesn't have access to your rental space. The driveway is shared, with one side designated for your parking and the other side for the tenant.

HOUSE RULES
- MAX OCCUPANCY AT ALL TIMES: 10
- QUIET HOURS: 9pm - 9am
- NO PARTIES, GATHERINGS, NO EXTRA GUESTS THAT OVER OCCUPIES THE HOME, OR EVENTS ALLOWED. Strictly enforced.
- THIS HOME IS DOG FRIENDLY: There is a $40 fee per night, per dog. Up to 3 dogs allowed. We do not accept cats due to the homeowner's allergies. Please inquire about other pets allowed with our Reservations Department. Please note that on Airbnb these fees are collected after the booking has been paid and someone from our team will reach out to you to collect the pet fee.
- VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY: There shall be no video, still photography or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner. Fees apply.

PLEASE NOTE!
- Please take note that this home is NOT baby and/or child proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental.
- There are exterior surveillance cameras recording 24/7. The cameras are located on the driveway, the backyard and outside the front door
- There is a detached guest house (not part of your rental!) on the property in the driveway. A long term tenant resides in the guest house.
- Please be aware that your access is limited to the main house, and no other areas or structures are included in your arrangement.
- The backyard is fully fenced when both side gates are locked shut.
- The fireplace is not operational.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee.
- Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee).
- Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.

Parties and Overoccupancy Policy:
- If the guest violates any of our rules regarding noise, parties, or overoccupancy, and the host receives complaints from neighbors, a $500 fine will be imposed per occurrence. In addition, should these allegations be found true, the guest will be subject to immediate eviction without a refund.

House by the shores

This getaway was great for my family and I. Location was great. Near everything we wanted to do. Just a short walk to the shore. The amenities were great! Much of what we needed was there in the house. This location has so much to offer. Definitely will be booking again in the future.

Wonderful place to stay in La Jolla!

I stayed here with two friends for a girls-weekend and we had an amazing time! The house is conveniently located, and we were able to easily get all around San Diego from here. The best part of the home is definitely the outdoor area, which we used every day. Everything was clean and comfortable and the home was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property! Comfy beds, amazing outdoor areas(3)! Could see the fireworks and drone show from the deck. Very quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to beach, stores, and food. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location walkable to beach and restaurants

The Shore House was a beautiful home perfect for our large family. It is close to restaurants, coffee shops, an ice cream store and the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor area was beautiful and great for evening gatherings for BBQ and chatting around the fire.

I can not believe how accommodating this incredible property was for our vacation to California. We brought our 2 and 4 year old along with another family that had another 2 year old girl. This kids had a BLAST playing in the big backyard and having tons of room to run around in the house. We were able to walk to restaurants and the beach. We also did a day trip to Legoland and the drive was very easy. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious with tons of room for storage. The kitchen had been upgraded to have a large farm style sink and the cabinet drawers have a “soft close” which I have fallen in love with. Stop right now and book this property- you will have an incredible vacation in a quiet neighborhood and beautiful views!

Great Property and Location

Overall we had a wonderful experience and stay. All the necessities were met. The beds were great, the backyard really provided such a paradise for bbqs, gatherings and kids play. Walking distance to the beach and resturants. We would definitely come back next year!

Not as Advertised

This house is in a beautiful location that is very close to the beach. However, the sliding glass door in the dining room is boarded up which makes accessing the outdoor patio very difficult. I wasn’t informed of this prior to my stay. And when I reached out to the property manager to inquire about it I never heard back.
