  • "Crab House" ist ein haustierfreundliches Ferienhaus am Meer in Outer Banks, das vollständig renoviert wurde, um große Wohnbereiche zu bieten. Diese großartige Immobilie am Meer befindet sich am 4123 North Virginia Dare Trail in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, an der Mile Post 3 3/4.
    Es gibt eine extra große Terrasse am Meer mit Liegestühlen und außergewöhnlichem, weitem Meerblick. Das Haus verfügt über einen großen offenen großen Raumbereich mit Essbereich für 10 Personen. Neue Küche mit allen neuen Geräten. Dieses Haus ist erhöht, bietet aber eine Ebene zu leben.

Schlafzimmer Nr. 3 hat 1 Einzelbett und 1 Doppelbett und Schlafzimmer Nr. 4 hat 1 Einzelbett und 1 Doppelbett auf der Straßenseite des Hauses. Neue Waschküche wurde mit neuen Geräten hinzugefügt. Dies ist das perfekte Familienferienhaus am Strand, in dem HUNDE ZULÄSSIG SIND - maximal 2 HAUSTIERE. Die Gebühr für Haustiere beträgt 250 USD pro Haustier. Der Umsatztag für dieses Haus ist Samstag.

My family highly enjoyed our stay here. It was amazing to be right on the water and step out on the beach every morning. The house was clean and super cute. A classic obx gem. The owner was quick to respond to help us with anything we needed. She had toys and a baby tent waiting for us which was a super sweet gesture. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

What an amazing place to stay and enjoy the beach! You are literally right on the beach, you walk off the front porch and onto the sand. Sitting on the porch and drinking my morning coffee with views like we had was the cherry on top. The water was cold for the time of year which we found odd but it didn’t stop us, especially with how hot it got. We are already talking about going back and getting more crab legs at black pelican, duck donuts and custard from Kill Devil Hills Custard.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and how well supplied the house was. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I stayed in one prior pet friendly house and was not at all happy. I was hesitant about trying again but you would never know there was ever any pet in this house,The owner is very easy to contact and very helpful, (wi-fi went out and we found it was an area problem, couple of hours). Text her and she responds and is helpful and pleasant.The deck overlooking the beach is great, so close to water you don't need to drag chairs to beach, just sit on deck with great seating and umbrellas. Nice side yard area to hang out and let children play also.We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful beach home with an upscale yet welcoming feel. The property was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and had everything needed for a relaxing and restorative stay. The ocean views, peaceful atmosphere, and comfortable outdoor spaces made it easy to completely unwind.One of my favorite parts was spending time on the deck listening to the waves and enjoying the cooler coastal weather. The home felt both luxurious and cozy at the same time — the kind of place where you immediately settle in and never want to leave.The host was wonderful, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire stay. Everything was exactly as described, and the home was exceptionally clean and well maintained.I also really appreciated how dog friendly the property was. Me and my family loved this beach home. Wonderful location, house was amazing and very clean. i loved the deck and waking up every morning to watch the sunrise and sit out there. the beds for very comfy and had no issues at all. definitely would stay here again!

One of the Best on the Beach!

Our whole crew gave this property a 10/10. It was the perfect setup for two families. The house was super clean, the kitchen was very well-stocked, and the furniture was comfortable. Outside, the deck can't be beat -- plenty of seating and right on the beach. And the beach in front was empty since there was no public beach access nearby. The location is perfect, as it's close to shopping, dining, and all the fun beach activities available in OBX. Terry is a very nice person who was very responsive to any questions we had. Can't wait to go back!

Fall break 2022

Everything was great. On the beach. Everything you needed to eat and cook with was at your disposal. The owner was very communicative with us during our stay. Only suggestion i would give is to have been able to control the thermostat.

The perfect house

This house was perfect for us. You are close to the grocery stores and restaurants of Kitty Hawk, but you'd never know it once you get to the house. The layout of the house is great and it is right on a private section of beach. The back porch has unobstructed views of the beach over the sand dunes. The color of the house was helpful when we took long beach walks - we knew exactly which house was ours! We hated to leave and hope to go back soon.

Nice property

Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The house was well equipped and beautiful, the deck overlooking the ocean was great. Our only complaint, which might not matter to others, is the furniture was not comfortable for anyone in our party of four. However, we're all nearing 70 and three of us have hip/back issues, so younger folks might not have any problems.

Sound of the waves

We had a very nice stay here at The Crabs house. It was very comfortably and clean. The location was perfect as the ocean is literally your backyard. There’s a lot to do in the area with families. Super convenient to all the stores you would need along with your choice of many ice cream places. We ate at the Bad Bean Baja grille which was amazing food (recommended by the host). We had a great time at the Waterpark and rented a boat to fish the sound. Lots of great memories. Thank you

Great Visit!

Could not ask for a better location...close to the action but still private and quiet. Very clean, very comfortable. Advice is to bring tp, trash bags, paper towels, laundry materials (detergent, fabric softener). House had hand soap, dishwasher cubes, nice patio/beach toys situation, kitchen had all the materials we needed. Loved the big kitchen table. Would love some more towel hooks in bathrooms. Thanks for a great time!

The perfect spot!

We had such a great time at Terry’s house, this location was perfect for our group! Everything is close by, but when we were at the house, we felt as though we had our own private beach! I took my parents on this trip with us, they are both in their 60s with mild mobility issues, and they were easily able to get up the stairs and around the house. That was important for us. The house was spacious, much more than can be seen in the pictures. We had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the AC kept us plenty cool when sun was blazing just a little too hot for us. I highly recommend the Crab House if you are looking for the perfect stay in Kitty Hawk :)

We enjoyed our stay overall and will say the home is great for families traveling with young children and dogs.Pros:Right on the beach and no public beach access nearby so great access and more private.Open concept and one floor, very kid friendly Deck was a great hangout spot, especially during baby's afternoon naps. You still feel like you are on the beach. Loved the shower spout by the stairs coming off the beach, very useful.Kitchen was well stockedLoved that the deck could be closed off Owner was responsive and got us in early for check in which was a very nice surprise. Cons:Queen beds were pretty uncomfortable.House had a bit of a dog smell when it was raining or the humidity was up. It was easy to air out with opening windows or use one of the scented candles. Deck had some maintenance upkeep needed, like rusty nails needing to be pushed down further. Probably not an issue for most but was a little more concerning for us just because of having a toddler. But understand it's early in the season and being right on the water everything outside takes more of a beating. Wi-Fi was a little confusing. The name recently changed and is not the name of the house any longer and the name is not listed in the check in materials or within the residence. So I had to call the Internet company myself to resolve which required a 15 minute hold as the owner did not have the info when I texted. Worked fine though once we got logged in.

Loved our stay at the Crab House

You can't beat the location! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only con is what many reviews mentioned, the AC unit didn't keep it cool enough. I would not going during the hottest months of the summer. Luckily we had great weather with temps no higher than 80 and the lows in the mid 60's to 70. If I was just sitting under one of the ceiling fans in the living room it was comfortable. The kitchen was warm while you were cooking. I think a ceiling fan in there would help. The bedrooms were never really comfortable and the ceiling fan in my room only had one speed. The unit is set to 72 and you can't turn in down. But if you want a peaceful spot on the beach, you can't beat the location!

Wonderful stay, great beachfront location (but wish the Wi-Fi was better)

Overall, a great house and a lovely stay. The location is great. Being beachfront was so nice, the views were gorgeous and it was so easy to get to and from the beach each day. In past years of visiting the Outer Banks, we have stayed near the beach, but a short walk away from a beach access (ex. across the street). Especially with young kids, the convenience of being right on the beach makes a huge difference! And at night we could have a glass of wine on the deck after the kids went to bed and listen to the waves (and the first few nights we had a great view of the moon over the water), which was perfect. The house was very clean and updated and the kitchen was well equipped. The only complaint is that the Wi-Fi is not very good. My husband had to do some work while on the trip and had to use a mobile hotspot from his phone at times to get things to load (and if the kids were watching their tablets, they had to mostly just watch things that were pre-downloaded). The West-facing (street-facing) bedrooms also are rather warm, especially at night once the doors are closed. Even though the AC is set to 72 (the lowest it could go) and the fans in the room were on, our baby monitor showed the actual temp in those rooms as 76-78. But the kids seemed ok with it, so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, though, a great stay!
