„The hotel is located in upper floors of a shopping mall. I stayed for 4 nights and took the executive room which still had a very acceptable price (approx. 80 USD). The room was big, nicely furnished and despite the central location quiet at night. Breakfasts are OK, a mid-size buffet with everything you need. The staff is friendly but the service-orientation could be better. All in all I enjoyed the stay and can imagine that I would stay there again.“

„While the location is chaotic and busy the actual hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice and clean rooms to really affordable prices, The food at the hotel restaurant was really good and the staff was amazing. The only issue is to get a taxi driver to want to drive downtown where the hotel is due to the busy traffic around the area. But highly recommend this hotel as it is really good value for the money.“

„The hotel offers everything one needs for a short or long stay. I stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed my small apartment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ordered via reception on the evening before, and the choices are rich. Since I was the only guest in the whole hotel I had the whole attention of the staff for myself... what a luxury. The hotel is not top-shot in Kampala, but definitely worth the money paid. The only disadvantage is the loud Lumumba Avenue, however, ...

„The rooms are of good quality, so is the bathroom. My balcony was to the quiet botanical garden which was very nice. Rooms on the other side of the building facing the road are loud. Breakfast buffet is good, the choice is just OK. Very helpful staff which prepared an extra early breakfast for me when I was leaving to a national park trip --> thank you! The only weakness I noticed was the weak Wifi in the room. Paying for an executive room I would expect a stable, strong signal“

„I've stayed at Fairway for 9 nights and I really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is in a good shape, so are the rooms. The location is central, there are two shopping malls in close distance. Bit disappointing were the loud corporate parties which always went till late night but also here the staff was helpful and intervened in favour of us guests. The only room for improvement is the breakfast. For such a hotel I would expect a better quality.“

„The villa is located in the bar and party area Kololo which makes it a noisy place at some nights. It has a very good Italian restaurant. It's a one-floor building so that people (workers, gardeners, cooks) were walking during the day in front of my window, looking inside. The staff doesn't show the level of friendliness I'm used from other hotels in Kampala. My overall impression was surprisingly negative.“

Allerdings bringt seinen Nähe zum Vergnügungsviertel Kabalagala es mit sich, dass an den Wochenenden von Donnerstag bis Sonntag Nacht die Lärmbelästigung durch Musik sehr hoch ist.“

„The entire property is a little gem a hotel and reasonably priced! Im from the USA and the Galaxy is my preferred choice in hotels. It always clean. „Schönes Hotel, aber schlechter Kundenservice, den uns wurde beim Check-In zugesagt, am nächsten Tag gegen Aufpreis einen späten Check-Out vorzunehmen, da unser Flug erst am Abend ging. Am nächsten Morgen hieß es dann jedoch, das Hotel sei ausgebucht und wir müssten das Zimmer regulär verlassen.
