We really enjoy staying on this end of Waikiki. The building is easy to get to. Parking was easy. Great communication with the host and the unit itself is clean and has a nice view of Diamond Head. The only issue we had with the unit is the shower head is super strong or a mist, with no in-between, which was annoying because you have to hold it in your hand. The building itself, however, could really use some updating. The hallway carpets need replacing, the reception area could be a lot more welcoming, the snack shop and fitness room were closed, an elevator was wonky... those sorts of things. They aren't vital to have a good time, but would certainly go a long way in getting a return visit.

charming apartment! Kitchen adequately stocked; beds were very comfy. Property manager responsive. Property overall was a little bit dated, but it was clean. Safe area, great for walking to beach and all around Waikiki.

Location is key - so close to the beach and the main strip. The Diamond Head View was beautiful. Roomy and very clean. The upgrades to the unit are so appreciated. I had other family members staying in other units in the same building that felt outdated… while we had the best appointed unit in the building. We look forward to another visit!

The location is perfect. However, the communication with the management is a bit challenge. The room is smaller than the pictures. The elevator shut down one time, we climbed the stairs! Overall, the experience was alright.

We enjoyed the condo and it served our needs for sleeping and resting after a long day enjoying the Island. It’s a bit smaller than the pictures lead on (inside), however, we didn’t come to Oahu to stay inside all day and laze around a house/condo. It served excellent jumping point to all the hotspots within walking distance to Waikiki, as well as close proximity to major veins to get around the island. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and served as a great vantage point in the morning and evening. WiFi was not working well, but building WiFi served as backup and fit our needs well. The AC didn’t cool the bedrooms rooms (we prefer a cooler nighttime, but opened the windows and let the fresh ocean breeze cool us at night. Would highly recommended for the value and proximity. Would definitely stay again and appreciate the host/management sending detailed instructions.

I wish I could give a “4.5” to this property. Here are the pros: 1) Great location—within a mile of Waikiki beach and shopping 2) Spotless 3) Beds are comfortable 4) Condo is supplied with plenty of dishes, pans, etc all in good shape 5) WiFi is strong 6) Byron is helpful Cons: 1) This is an old building with soiled carpeting and poorly maintained hallways 2) This is a 38-floor building with the condo on the 24th, but only two elevators of the four are in working order—of course they are on the ends so if you are standing on the Murphy’s Law end and don’t scurry to the other end you’ll miss it and have to wait another round. According to staff, it’s been that way a while. 3) The very heavy door of the condo is old with a broken spring to soften the closure. The smart lock wasn’t working and so the three of us had to be sure someone had the solo key. 4) There is an app to pay for laundry and it is located right next door to the condo—good news is it’s close, bad news is you get to hear people going in and out doing their laundry. 5) As of December, the property has some kind of construction going on. There is no place to park while you check in—fortunately Byron was on site and could come out to the street to give us the parking pass for the garage. 6) Leaving requires loading your car, having one of your party pull out and park in a “no parking” zone while another waits for one of the two elevators to go back up to the condo and return the pass to the condo.

Condo was great for our family of 6! Short walk to the beach, ABC store, and a couple of food trucks on the way. If you forgot something they had a little market on the 5th floor. BBQ area was great! Communication with manager was easy and responses were quick. Only issue we had was parking. We had rented an SUV to fit our family but because of the height in the parking garage we could only park on the second floor which was limited and first come first serve. Overall I would definitely come back to this little gem!

Our stay in this condo at the Waikiki Sunset was great. Wonderful views, Trade winds cooling, but also AC, if you like. Short walk to ZOO, Aquarium, beach, shops, and all that Waikiki has to offer. And the Swimming Pool deck was a hit with the kids!! Well appointed condo and the beds were new and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!! ONO!

This was a great location. Lovely apartment but a little dated. And cheap fittings, so things broke, like the toilet roll holder and the wardrobe doors. We didn't have a plug for the kitchen sink till the second day so that was annoying. Over all though, it was a very good place to stay. We were very happy here.
