„Our stay was super relaxing in our little cottage by the river. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided but taking groceries is essential. The cabin was very cosy and the views were stunning. Thanks to Andy for leaving us with lots of chopped wood to keep warm and have a lovely wood fire in the evenings. Not having any mobile access was a blessing so we could switch off and enjoy our surroundings.“

The TV reception dropped off a few times and there aren’t enough toilet papers resulting in us having to buy some in town.“

„Mark the owner is absolutely lovely and so helpful! The photo's don't do it justice, the unit is even more beautiful and the surrounding bush is very peaceful. „We loved the Miner's Cottage and would stay again, the only thing is there is no internet access if you do need it. Also you need to bring your own shampoo as this isn't provided.. It may be a good idea to take some bottled water as you have to boil the water before you can drink it. Other than that we loved it, Andy was very friendly, the Cottage was lovely the bed was really comfortable, lovely walks along the river, we didn't want to leave.. „I found the place based on the map provided on Stayz, the owner never gave the address so it was a little hard to find. The queen bed in the second bedroom is broken and unsafe to sleep on so we had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. No dishwashing soap provided at all yet check out instructions requested for all dishes to be washed. The location to mountain entrance is excellent and it was nice to see the kangaroos in the morning.“
