Das Hotel befindet sich in einer sehr schönen Anlage, es ist sehr ruhig dort, zum Abschalten genau richtig. Die Zimmer sind sehr schlicht eingerichtet,Putz Personal macht nur das nötigste=zählt zu Apartments. Es fehlt an etwas zusätzlicher Ausstattung im Küchennischenbereich, Geschirr ect. Es ist eher alles sparsam gehalten.

At Pela Mare Hotel we are very proud for our high housekeeping standards and we regret to read that we did not live up to your expectations. Regarding your comments on that, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and we cannot stress enough how disappointed we feel to not have met our own accommodation standards. However, since you brought this matter to our attention [on the 4th day of your 8 night stay] we tried to make up for the lost days and we immediately changed the housekeeping attendant in your room and performed a thorough check on a daily basis to make sure that our standards are kept at least for the reminder of your stay. This in our opinion does not justify the previous days were only basic housekeeping was offered and we always encourage our guests to bring any issues to our attention in order to resolve them as soon as possible. sehr schöne Hotelanlage
Leider war der Ceckin nicht so wie erwartet. Gebucht war ein Familienzimmer mit Meerblick. Leider sah man von der Terrasse eher auf die Küche des Restaurants als auf das Meer. Das wäre jetzt für uns bei 3 Nächten nicht so dramatisch gewesen aber ich fragte trotzdem ob es MÖGLICH ist, ein anderes Zimmer zu bekommen. Leider wurde Rezeptionsmitarbeiter sehr schnell laut und frech und bot letztendlich an uns ein anderes Hotel zu besorgen. Glücklicherweise waren alle anderen Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und führten einen sehr guten Service durch. Die beiden Zimmer waren groß, freundlich eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage ist leider nur im vorderen Zimmer, wurde aber nicht benötigt. Die Dusche ist in dem modernen Bad etwas zu klein geraten. Am Frühstücks-Buffet fehlte es an nichts. Ein schöne saubere und gepflegte Hotelanlage, das Preis-Lesitungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Wer in der Region für wenig Geld griechisch essen will ist hier gut aufgehoben - Taverne an Taverne. Ansonsten ist es reiner Massentourismus und von dem eigentlichen Kreta erlebt man nichts.

We do apologise for the turn of events with our reception staff; however our log indicates some information that is left out from your review. While the room allocated to you was indeed behind our restautant area; the balcony level is at least 4 meters higher. Your room had two balconies; one with view towards the pool and the aegean sea and the other one with view to the bay of Agia Pelagia. Our front desk guest history log indicated that our staff informed that we were fully booked and there were no other rooms available at that time or the day after your first night. You insisted that you did not have sea view from your room but only "kitchen view". At that point our staff expressed their disagreement on the view statements and since you continued to insist on moving to another room [which was not possible] we offered to waive all fees associated with your reservation and help you find a room that best suits your preferences at another property. Unfortunately; when guests are not giving us any flexibility we cannot help them resolve any problems. As far as your comment on the A/C is concerned we are happy to inform you that we have now equipped all family rooms with two A/C units one in the main bedroom and one in the living room. We truly hope that we shall have the opportunity to host you once again in the near future and hopefully change any negative impressions of your first visit to our hotel. Eine sehr gepflegte Anlage. Tolles Ambiente, toller Blick in die Bucht. Ruhig gelegen und dennoch eine relativ zentrale Lage. Das Zimmer war spitze, das Frühstück (draußen - überdacht) auch sehr lecker mit einem schönen Blick auf‘s Meer. Durch die geringe Anzahl der Zimmer war es sehr angenehm.

Das Hotel ist echt super,wir fanden es sehr ruhig,man konnte sich dort sowas von entspannen ,da es nur ein Hotel mit 24 Zimmer ist mit Studios und Apartments . Man hatte von unserem Balkon einen traumhaften Ausblick zum Meer . Wir waren mit unserem Zimmer sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sowas ausreichend ausgerichtet. Das ganze Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn wieder Kreta ,dieses Hotel sehr gerne wieder.

Wir haben hier zwei schöne Tage vor unserem Abflug verbracht. Der Flughafen ist in max. 30 min zu erreichen. Das Zimmer (mit Panorama Blick) war sehr geräumig. Etwas störend war hier die Lüftung des tiefer liegenden Hotels. Der Service (Rezeption und Bar/Restaurant) war vorbildlich, ebenso der Zustand der Außenanlagen

Pela Mare? 100% Volltreffer!
Auf der Rundreise mit dem Mietwagen war Pela Mare unser erstes Hotel, was wir aufgrund der geringen Entfernung zum Flughafen und sehr guten Bewertungen ausgesucht haben. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir von der Lage mit der Aussicht auf die malerische Buchten und vom herzlichen Empfang begeistert und wussten sofort, dass wir mit der Auswahl dieses Hotels einen Volltreffer erzielt haben. Frühstuck ist sehr gut und abwechslungsreich - Eiergerichte werden variiert (mal Spiegeleier, mal Omelette), frisches Obst und Gemüse, Feta-Käse, sehr leckerer griechischer Joghurt mit hausgemachter Marmelade und Honig. Es wird auf der gemütlich gestalteten Terrasse aufgetischt - im Hintergrund läuft dezenter Jazz, man genießt den Ausblick auf das Meer und fühlt sich wie im siebten Himmel. Zimmer sind neu renoviert, komfortabel, geräumig und bieten alles, was man erwartet. Das Hotel und der tolle windgeschützte Strand in Agia Pelagia, einem Dorf mit vielzähligen leckeren Restaurants entlang der Promenade, hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir beschlossen haben, das letzte Hotel auf unserer Rundreise zu canceln und zum Pela Mare zurückzukommen. Wenn wir noch mal auf Kreta sind - ist dieses Hotel definitiv eines unserer Destinationen.

This is a lovely small hotel with fabulous views of the countryside and sea. We spent a week here and chose a deluxe suite which had a bedroom and a separate living room with a dual aspect balcony directly overlooking the sea. The beach is about 15 minute walk away and the area is very quiet. If you want rest and relaxation this is for you. The hotel is made up of several blocks of apartment type rooms with their own front door. There is a lovely pool and the grounds are well maintained. As in other reviews we found the breakfasts amazing, filled with local produce and home baking. Most other residents had car rentals but we got the local bus into Heraklion which stops outside the hotel four times a day. The staff are really friendly and helpful and left us vases of flowers like jasmine from the grounds which we really appreciated. We had a lovely relaxing break and I definitely recommend this hotel.

Nous avons très bien été accueillis dans cet hôtel qui est où nous avons passé 9 jours. Le personnel a été vraiment à l'écoute et très agréable tout le long du séjour, de la réception au personnel de la restauration. Le village est près de deux plages, dont une plus pratique pour les familles avec enfants en bas âge; très proche d'un petit supermarché qui propose de tout. This beautiful hotel is situated in an excellent location overlooking the sea, just 25 mins drive from Heraklion airport. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and all of them work extremely hard to cater to their guests every need. Apart from the tranquillity and the amazing views, the best thing about this hotel is the fact that it has just the right number of rooms to provide its guests with the space needed to enjoy it without ever feeling overcrowded. You'll never struggle to get a sunbed during the day or a table for dinner, even during peak season. I would definitely recommend the Pela Mare to anyone visiting the area.

We just stayed here a few weeks ago, the day after the worst storms that Crete had seen in 40 years (that were centred over the nearby village). The hotel is lovely, well maintained and clean, with decent facilities for a small hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food in the little restaurant by the pool was very nice and had some good local options. We had bed and breakfast and there were some good options for breakfast, with a bit of variety. We strolled into town most nights for an evening meal and there is a good selection of places on the seafront to choose from - although all those restaurants by the beach have very similar menus, whereas the hotel's menu was a bit different. They were all nice though. It is about half an hour by car driving to Heraklion, and because the weather was not great we also took in a few other sites such as Zeus caves, Spinalonga and Knossos which were about 40m to 1h15m away. Would stay at this hotel again.
