„Das Gables ist ein interessantes altes Haus mit sehr viel Charme. Die Zimmer sind sehr unterschiedlich eingerichtet oder ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Trotz einer Lebensmittelallergie hatten wir ein perfektes Frühstück. Alles war hervorragend und gut. Die Lage war klasse mit der Tram war das Zentrum von Philly gut zu erreichen. Ich würde das Haus weiterempfehlen. Wer kein Hotel sondern das 'wirkliche, ursprüngliche ' will ist hier gut aufgehoben. “

„Very clean establishment and hotel room that is right on the Main Street of Strasburg. The area is quiet and safe. The split unit in our room, (room 3), made a loud rattling noise whenever the thermostat kicked on…which was about every 45 minutes or so. That made it difficult to sleep as we were woken up every hour. Breakfast is offered at the Speckled Hen, which is about 1/4 mile away. The food and staff are exceptional. Having an ice cream parlor connected to inn was convenient and dangerous ...

„Very clean cottage, friendly and helpful staff too. The breakfast was great! Both floors of the cottage were thermostatically controlled and provided very comfortable sleeping conditions. Highly recommend the next time you are in Lancaster that you visit the Apple Bin Inn.“

„The host did not disclose they live there and refused to vacate the property during our scheduled rental time. They had pets that was also undisclosed which would have caused concern for allergic guests. The contract was changed after signing to add additional fees. It is against vrbo policy for the owner to live on the premises. Thankfully vrbo was helpful and offered a refund but our event was displaced with no where to go within one hour of its start time. “
