Place is convenient to main areas in Penang, however it can get very loud and noisy at night. Also a bit inconvenient with parking as there is no provided parking space

Very nice rooms. Close to Jalah Penang. My wife and I were probably allergic to the detergent used to clean sheets...we both experienced itch after lying in bed - NOT bug bites. Also last day water pressure in room was pretty much down to zero. Flushing toilets was a 15 mins challenge as it will take 15 mins to refill tank. Forget about taking a shower!

Dear Sir/Mdm, Upon checking-in the hotel, I was being told that the room charges had been charged to my credit card & they couldn’t reverse to payment by Cash over at the hotel counter. Despite that I informed them that I’ve made my booking thru your website and have indicated that I will take the option of paying the full amount in Cash(not credit card). I had communicated with the hotel reservation staff (upon check-in) & insisted for payment made by cash. Why was there a miscommunication in between the Expedia & the Hutton Central II hotel? I am very upset the way it has been handled & am looking forward a satisfactory explanation for the screw up.

Modern, spacious room with master bedroom and spacious living area with sofa bed, kitchenette & enclosed shower room. Hotel open 5 months so everything clean and new. Our room 128F was located above the loud hotel karaoke bar that continued til the early hours of the 2 mornings we stayed. Not good, especially with family. Also the traffic noise from Jalan Transfer was noisy as you are located on the corner of a cross roads particularly when the buses go by, you feel them as well as hear them! Overall, a good base for exploring on foot or catching the bus. Staff are aware of the Karaoke noise which has been passed on to Management

Störande karaoke
Hotellet var superfint och fräscht! Sköna sängar, bra utrymme och ett eget kök som gjorde det möjligt att laga egen frukost. Vi blev väldigt positivt överraskade då vi inte förväntat oss något särskilt. Dock låg rummet ovanpå en karaokebar som höll igång till klockan 04 både fredag och lördag. Volymen var extremt hög och vi kunde inte sova trots öronproppar, hörlurar med högsta volym och kudde över huvudet.. Heeelt otroligt att de ens kan ha kvar sitt hotell där! Vi fick ingen info om detta innan och de påstod att de inte kunde göra något åt saken förutom att vi fick byta rum till ett som var aningen bättre. Så upplevelsen gick verkligen från superbra till oacceptabelt dåligt över en natt.

Good stay but very disturbing at night
It's a brand new apartment, spacious, 5 star quality, but it's a nightmare after night as there are several karaoke rooms at downstairs, non stop tormenting noisy until 3am every night!

Brand new, spacious but extremely noisy at night
This place is more like an apartment than a hotel. The reception is at downstairs, easy to get hold of. The room is spacious and brand new, 3 star price with 4 star facilities. Can't fault it at all for it's services. Only big complaint is there are a few karaoke rooms at downstairs which play super loud music, worst singing skills that disturbing the whole building. They don't stop making the noise until 2am. Extremely annoying! l

Price vs quality is good
The suite are great, around 80sqm close to main attractions of George town. When we arrived there was a birthday party down stairs and the noise was incredible however the next evening was fine. This is my 5th tome to Penang and to be honest for what you pay is really not bad. The only complaint is the staff, didn't clean the room, extra blanket for extra person never bought to the room, Wi-Fi didnt work and none of the amenities was refilled, no hot water to shower. But what do you expect for the price. I probably saw if you don't mind the above them it's 100% fine to book
