exuma bliss
This house was perfect. The photos do not do it justice. It was clean, new, and well appointed. Better in person then in the pictures! Very spacious and well maintained. The bathrooms were huge, washer and dry functioned well, all appliances were great. Beds were comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 4. The views of the bluest water are amazing!!!. The pool was great and sharing it was not a problem. The owners were so attentive and helpful. They even came and helped us with a flat tire. They allowed us to use their kayak and paddle board down at the beach to see the sea turtles in the bay. Great location you can walk to hoppers bay or we beach hopped by car. Rent the car and live the island life this way! You will not regret it. We will definately book this home again!

A nice house, clean, quiet and with a lot of space. The pool is very pleasant and we enjoy it because the way to the Beach isn’t very easy. The view on Hoopers Bay is amazing but it’sn’t the best view as you write in the tittle : on arrival we were so surprised to discover the 4 electric cables and pole just in front of the house, on the view ! And you have to check the beach seats : they are damaged, we couldn’t use them. But even these details our stay was very pleasant.

Great Place to Stay with an Epic View
Very nice rental home suitable for couples, multiple couples, or small families. Beautifully finished and well furnished. Epic view. Propert manager, Gabby, was pleasant and attentive. We felt like this was a good value and checked all of our boxes. We'll be back some day for another stay!

Birthday week
The house was perfect and super convenient to everything you need. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and cocktails by the pool in the afternoon. Super private and never saw anyone in the surrounding properties the entire week. Such a perfect place to destress from everyday life and most definitely my favorite place on the planet. There are many properties for rent in Exuma but this is the choice we suggest for your holiday. We loved this location! Hoopers Bay is beautiful and the home is close to grocery stores which were super convenient. Everything was well kept which made for a comfortable stay. Turtle Bay 1 "Great Property"
Turtle Bay 1 is in a great location!! Smitty's grocery and CnK Liquor store is only a couple minutes away. George town is only 10 min away. You are maybe 10 min or less away from the airport. The ocean views of Hooper's Bay are amazing from this property!! You won't mind cooking in the kitchen looking at these views. Please know that when you stay in Exuma you will end up visiting and driving to the different beaches all over the island so don't worry that you are not directly located on the beach. You are able to walk to Hooper's bay beach from this property. Our neighbors walked to that beach every day with children age toddler to probably 10 yrs old. The house was beautiful and up to date. It was great that there were beach chairs and umbrellas available to borrow and take to the various beaches. The pool was a nice addition too!! Just be aware that the pool is right beside Turtle Bay 1 house and the other properties next door have shared access to the pool so you will be sharing the pool with your neighbors if anyone is renting the units next door. The property was nicely maintained and I would highly recommend renting this property for either two couples or a family. The owner and property manager are both great people to work with. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Perfect location on Grand Exuma
This is our second stay with this property manager. The homes are beautifully decorated and have everything you need for a luxurious stay. The pool is an added bonus. Beds are super comfortable and we could not have asked for more. We will be back next year. If your need a car to rent, contact Sure to Shore. There is a grocery store and liquor store close by as well. Lots of extras in the house suck as snorkel gear, beach umbrellas, etc.

Great first trip to Exuma!
My husband, myself, and two young children thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved the pool and we loved the view! The house was clean and very comfortable. There were some handyman jobs that needed to be fixed while we were there but the owner communicated those clearly. The only small mishap was that all of the listing information had check out at 11:00, however cleaning personnel showed up at 10:00– this was very minor and they still accommodated us as we were getting our last minute things together. We loved the location and would stay again/

Would definitely stay there again. House has everything you need except water dispenser. Exuma is expensive but worth it. The house is located close to restaurants and grocery stores. Only complaint is the high bed. Even with a stool I had a hard time getting up in it. As I said I would come back to this house.

The views from this home are amazing and that is what you are paying for. The home has marble tile floors through out the home that could be very slippery if not careful. The home is very clean and modern. We found Georgetown's roads very dangerous to drive. Maybe since we went in off season many restaurants were not open during our stay. Gettging fuel for the rental car was a challenge with cars line up 15 to 20 deep to try to get fuel.

What a great property! Better than the photos depict. Our family had an amazing time here. Close to the turtles (our daughters favorite) and the central location to beaches, groceries, restaurants and Georgetown just can’t be beat. Simply paradise - what we hoped for and more!
We had one of our best holidays as a family in Exumas. Rob & Carla's home was perfect for our family. Separate rooms with en-suite bathrooms on opposite sides of the living area/kitchen. All glass doors to take in the stunning turquoise waters of Exumas that just never got old. The pool that our boys loved every morning and evening before/after adventures during the day. Rob & Carla were incredibly gracious hosts, offering us access to the sea turtle beach where they live, helping us with a flat tire in the rental car, as others shared, providing all the favorite places to eat/shop & see. Loved hearing about Carla's connection to the island as well for a little history lesson. We will most certainly visit Exumas again and can only hope we are lucky enough to stay here again.

The Perfect Stay!
We have traveled to Exuma before, but this time we were lucky enough to find Rob and Carla's beautiful property! Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from household essentials to suggestions for places to eat and things to see. We even had a small medical concern (ear infection) and Rob went out of his way to help. Rob & Carla were wonderful hosts and we will definitely be back to stay with them! I cannot recommend them enough.

Breathing Easy at Turtle Bay
We have stayed at this property several times and it does not disappoint! It is perfectly set up for our group of 4. It is clean, the pool is a plus, and the location is one of the best on the island, handy to GGT, and close to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We love Turtle One
This was our second time staying at this property. It is clean, tastefully decorated and feels like home. Very comfortable furniture and beds. There was even a blow up mattress for our 7 year old grandson to camp out in the living room. The views are outstanding, including the night view of the Milky Way and falling stars! A trip to the outdoor shower and into the pool after a day at the beach is just the thing. Eating out is very expensive here, so we brought and bought a lot of our food on the island. There are a lot of nice, fresh vegetables at the downtown market in Georgetown. We used the grill and/or the well-stocked kitchen daily. The owners are responsive, and often on-site, maintaining the pool. The nearby beach on Hoopers Bay is beautiful and you can swim with the turtles. If you go in the water by the docks, they will swim right up to you, looking for food. (You should not feed or touch them, though). Overall, a wonderful property and proximity. We will be back.

The house is set up perfectly for our needs and is very comfortable. My wife loved the pillows so much she's trying to find the exact ones. The house and property are clean and up-to-date. Breathtaking location and views and elegant comfort in paradise!
Simply put, having gone to Exuma a number of times over the past decade, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. For my family and I, this was perfect. But the obvious question would be, what was it that made it so perfect for us, and would it be as perfect for you? Answering that is more difficult, so perhaps I can share some of the things we liked best and made it so special for us. Privacy: The property is not isolated. You have ample nearby markets and restaurants, and are a short drive from GeorgeTown, and even share a pool with the sister house next door. Still, your terrace is private, and even with the guests next door I think we only saw them a couple of times in our entire 10 days there. Frankly, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Beds and furniture: This is not a generic house. It is extremely well appointed, and anyone who has traveled extensively abroad will immediately recognize the charm and sophistication. It is inviting, comfortable, clean, relaxing, and calming. It is almost like going to your own house, with levels of comfort you might find in a nice hotel, but with personality. View and location: simply put, it's very hard to beat. You're right off Hooper's Bay, one of the nicest beaches on the island, and you can go there and see barely anyone. Hosts: Robert and Carla are probably the nicest, most attentive hosts we have had the pleasure of interacting with. I could go on, but will leave it there. Summary: If you want peace and quiet, comfort, privacy, and an excellent location, I am not sure you can do better.

Turtle Bay House 1 was perfect! The views of Hooper’s Bay are amazing. There is a pool right off the back deck with spectacular views. The place is perfectly appointed with all top of the line amenities. You are one minute from the meat market, two minutes from the grocery and liquor stores and about seven minutes to downtown Georgetown. I cannot say enough about the property owners, Robert and Karla. They met us at check in and gave us a tour of the property and great tips for dining, beaches throughout the island and excursions. Just a truly top notch experience all the way around. We will definitely be back and have already recommended this property to several friends looking to travel to Exuma.

Overdue Beach Vacay!!!
We booked this trip in 2020 and had to reschedule due to Covid. The owner was very accommodating on this issue which we greatly appreciated. Rebecca the property manager was very easy to work with and super helpful upon our arrival. She helped us with our initial trip to the store since our rental car wasn’t ready. Which brings up a good point, you will need a rental car. Getting a taxi in this area in a reasonable time frame will be difficult, if not impossible. The house is very close to a great meat market we used for steaks, chicken, sausage etc. just a little further away in the opposite direction is a good market and liquor store. The views are exceptional from the deck and pool area and we found ourselves spending the majority of our time here when we weren’t off property. Everything worked in the house and having a washer/dryer was a terrific feature. The house needs a little TLC here and there, but nothing that would or should keep anyone from staying at this wonderful property.

Es una casa cómoda para 2 parejas. Nosotros fuimos con tres hijos de 23, 22 y 21 y dos tuvieron que compartir una cama matrimonial y el otro un colchón inflable. La vista de la casa es preciosa, aunque no tiene acceso directo a la playa, si no que tienes que caminar un poco. La vista del deck es linda y la parrilla all es muy cómoda. Recomiendo alquilar carro para poder ir a las playas cercanas. La gerente siempre estaba disponible para resolver cualquier problema.

Stunning view.
What a lovely home and location for our first time visiting Exuma. Clean, expansive and well equipped. The pool is a very nice touch and very welcoming at the end of the day. If you are looking for a quiet restful visit, with an excellent stunning beach , and small grocery/butcher both within walking distance. ..then this is your place. The internet worked as well. Great Villa with stunning views!
We have just returned from a wonderful week long stay at Turtle Bay House 1. The Villa is spacious and immaculate with beautiful furnishings and spa like bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable after a long day at the beach or sitting by the pool admiring the spectacular views. The location of the villa allows for easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, beaches and Georgetown...plus, it's less than 15 minutes from the airport. Rebecca (on island property manager) was very friendly and readily available for any questions we had. While the description indicates a "short walk to Hooper's Bay beach", we drove - less than 2 minutes. Just didn't want to lug our beach stuff and walk down Queen's Highway. I would highly recommend Turtle Bay house 1 to anyone looking for an updated Villa with phenomenal views, expansive deck for outdoor dining & relaxing, a pool and convenient location. The property also has two other properties which were just as beautiful and as well appointed as Turtle Bay house 1. Would be ideal for a group of six couples or multiple families to rent the entire "compound". We look forward to returning to Exuma and staying at Turtle Bay house! Thank you to Robert and his wife for allowing us to stay in their truly wonderful vacation home!

10 Day Getaway at Turtle Bay House
We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Turtle Bay house! Rebecca met us at Smitty’s promptly and brought us up to this beautiful property. She was most helpful and communicated easily and often to make sure our visit was nothing short of extraordinary. The house was spotless and completely equipped with everything we could possibly need from kitchen supplies to beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. The pool was a real bonus and was extremely clean and well maintained throughout our visit. The beds were comfy and the layout of the house afforded each couple much privacy. Another Wonderful Exuma Vacation
Had a wonderful week in Exuma and stay at this great property. Ideal location as you can literally walk to Prime Island Meats and Smity's. Rebecca, the property manager, was just outstanding! Her communication is first class. The property is just as advertised.....very modern, super stocked kitchen, cooler, beach chairs and even a snorkle & mask. Walk to the beach access if less than 5 minutes away and it is only a 10 min drive to town. You really can't beat this location to enjoy all that Exuma is and has to offer. The house is very clean, spacious and comfortable and has all the amenities needed. It is a short walk to Turtle Bay and an Island Deli store which had groceries and a delicious deli. Renting a car is a necessity if you want to explore all the beautiful beaches on the island (and you will!) as well as go to restaurants and into Georgetown to catch the water taxi. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Exuma. The people of Exuma are extremely friendly and seem to take a lot of pride in their island community. I highly recommend Exuma - and Robert and Carla's Turtle Bay I home - for a relaxing beach vacation.
