We had a wonderful stay!! This house was absolutely beautiful and so many details were thought of to make this property a great place to stay while on vacation - from little things like retractable baby gates to bigger things like comfortable beds and amble amounts of towels. We were a party of 12, two families each with 3 kids and then grandparents and the set up of the house was perfect with the bunk room attached to a bedroom and a nursery attached to another. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the whole family loved all of the different games we could play together in the game room. We all agreed that our vacation to the Smokey Mountains was great because of how wonderful the house was and the views off all the decks were the best views we saw of the mountains when traveling around them. When people say you will see bears they are not kidding . One evening a juvenile bear approached the bottom patio gate while we were swimming and eating , we all immediately grabbed the food and went inside and then the morning we were checking out an adult bear was blocking our cars when we went to go leave - definitely not something you want to mess with. Our only recommendations for the house would be to have some kids plates/bowls/ cups in addition the children’s silverware they have and also having bear spray there for guests because I know that was provided at a house we stayed at in the Tetons but maybe because they have grizzly bears and not black bears?
