Relaxing Getaway
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing getaway from home and we found just that with Timberrose. It's located in their ranch with 4 cabins, but they are distanced for privacy. We enjoyed watching the cows on the ranch along with the deer, turkey, and various birds at/near the property. We also enjoyed the hot tub along with the breakfast items & snacks provided. There is a fridge, stove, cookware, plates, glasses, and utensils to use to make meals at the cabin. Main Street in Fredericksburg where alot of shops & restaurants are at is only a 15 minute drive to town and Lukenbach is just a few miles away. There is a great burger place about 3 miles away called Alamo Springs Cafe, which we highly recommend checking out too. If you are looking for somewhere to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, this is definitely the place to come. We highly recommend Timberrose.

Relaxing cottage in the Texas Hill Country
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in The Grapetown Gasthaus. The cottage is clean and quiet and you'll see cows and deer from your windows. It's about a 20 minute drive into town, which was fine with me because I preferred being outside of town. Bankersmith, which is basically a restaurant/bar, is a few miles away and worth a stop. The cottage is also close to Luckenbach and to numerous local wineries. Loved seeing all the animals in the area. I was sad to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at the barn house. It was a little far from the Main Street but we knew it was a bit of a distance when we booked. The house was charming, hospitality was great, everything was clean! Loved the tub! Most appreciated the quiet.

Cozy, quiet, and convenient
We could not have asked for a better get away to Fredericksburg. We were on a working ranch 10 minutes from town. We not only enjoyed the quiet ambience of country living but also the convenience to town activities.

Amazing lil couple retreat. Stay here.
Amazing stay. It was a chilly weekend but they made sure we had enough heaters and blankets and the cabin was very comfortable. The Food was amazing. The place was clean. Hot tub was great. Stars were beautiful. Tim was available by phone leading up to, and during our stay. He got us set up, and then let us be to enjoy the weekend. We would highly recommend this place, and we will be coming back!

We enjoyed the quiet. Peaceful area watching the deer and other animals. Was our first Christmas without family They thought of everything breakfast. Snacks, wine for relaxing. Some Christmas decorations and explained how to use the equipment..hot tub, heater etc. And how to reach them... Nice clean fun place.

Everything was great! The property is just outside of town. Beautiful drive there. Saw lots of deer everyday. The cabin is adorable. Very well thought out. Everything you could need was there. Just Wow!!
What a totally fabulous experience! It's the little things that make a nice stay exceptional...and Tim and Rose did a lot of the little things to make our stay extraordinary. Start with a beautiful property set in the Texas Hill Country with roaming deer, cattle, donkeys, horses, ducks, and friendly cats. Add a sculpted stone cottage, each set apart from other buildings with a rustic feel but all the modern conveniences. Include well thought-out touches of comfort and privacy...and a private hot tub out the back door. Just WOW! Close enough to the city of Fredricksburg and numerous wineries to indulge your other pleasures but removed from the traffic and bustle. Highly recommended .

Amazing Place to Unwind
This was our first stay at Timber Rose and safe to say we are already planning our second visit. It is such a great place to unwind and relax. The property is beautiful and the ranch animals are a blast to interact with. The sausage bread and other baked goods provided by Tim and Rose are OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. I was working remotely during the morning and the ranch’s WiFi was fantastic. We cannot wait to stay again, it is a slice of paradise.

Loved the feel and atmosphere and beauty of the land. Very cute place. Wish the bed was more comfortable and there is a bird that taps on the window right now a lot, may want to see if there is a way to discourage that. Wish we had more fresh savory food items than sweet carbs available for breakfast, but did like the privacy of this B&B. Animals were great entertainment loved watching them. Suggest getting foot poufs for couch to put feet up. Overall very cute and quaint place.

Thank you for leaving a review of your stay, we appreciate it more than you know. We currently have new mattresses and have added a foot rest, so that we are 100% ready for future guests to rent. We are pleased that you enjoyed our signature Yee Haw sausage cheese bread and green chili quiches. Our kitchen also leaves homemade banana bread and muffins. We are a small business and are unable to provide special dietary menus, but we do our best to appeal to everyone. We hope we have an opportunity to host you again and impress you even more.

This was our second time to stay here. The ranch is beautiful, and interacting with the animals roaming around is fun. There is a stocked pond for fishing, and it's a very cozy and peaceful property. Loved the country setting was so calm and peaceful, but you are still close enough to the city for all the fun. The Barn was perfect for our anniversary getaway. The owners had food in the fridge and the place was so clean. The animals all around were so friendly. We will defiantly be making a stop here again.

This was the best vacation my wife and I have EVER had!! It all started with the BEST place you could stay in Fredricksburg, TX. TimberRose B&B is truly 5 stars or 10/10 however you want to grade. The Hosts were friendly and accommodating, the room is was just amazing and the views were breathtaking. waking up to deer in the yard every morning was amazing. This place tops all others in Fredricksburg. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Tim and Rose for an amazing weekend!

Nice romantic weekend getaway.
We were greeted upon arrival by Tim. He showed us the house and went through the essentials that we would need to know, as well as giving us some local insider information about places to eat and visit while we were down. The house and property were charming and very nice. The breakfast provided was great, with a few options. We really enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a very peaceful get away, this is a great place.

TimberRose B&B was absolutely fantastic! Close to all of the local points of interest, yet far enough away to allow you to unwind in a beautiful environment. This will be our "go to" for any future trips to Fredericksburg!
