„When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house! John, the owner, greeted us and we got to know each other a little bit He was friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. John even offered us plums and/or apples from his fruit trees. „The host was very friendly and this spot was perfect for us for the night. Quiet and close to the event we were in town to see. It was hot but had hookups so we enjoyed the AC in our camper until it cooled down enough to open up windows. Such a lovely little town. We'll be back next year!“
