Discover a hub of year-round outdoor fun when you stay at this Air-Conditioned 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath vacation rental home. Take advantage of miles of world-class skiing, hiking, and mountain biking trails, raft the waters of the Animas River, explore historic downtown Durango, or climb aboard the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad for a scenic trip through the breathtaking canyons of the San Juan National Forest. At day's end, retreat back for a BBQ with friends and family with unspoiled mountain views.

Located just minutes from downtown, you are close to all the yummy Durango restaurants, coffee shops, and unique Main Street shops that make our town so special. This house has an open-plan design, great furniture, Wi-Fi, and a large fenced backyard. This home is pet-friendly with prior approval. A pack-n-play and high chair are provided at the home for those traveling with babies/toddlers. It also comes equipped with smart TVs, where you can access your streaming services.

This property is pet friendly; the pet fee is $25/per day for each pet. We allow up to 2 dogs per stay. The maximum pet fee is $200 per dog and will be added to your reservation after you book.

NO Smoking anywhere on the premises.

Guests will be sent a vacation rental agreement by Durango Colorado Vacations (the property manager) to e-sign at the time of booking.

A friendly reminder before you book your stay is to remember we are trusted to manage independent and family-owned homes. We simply ask that you treat these homes and properties with the same respect that you would expect one to treat yours. Due to a recent uptick in unauthorized guests, pets, and gatherings. We are implementing a strict one-strike policy for any guests that are found having any unauthorized gatherings, pets, or guests with them in the home. Failure to disclose any of the stated above will result in immediate termination of stay with no refund being issued for unused nights.

Please note that most properties are outfitted with outdoor security cameras.

The backyard is fully fenced. As shown in pictures, it is not landscaped.

Cancellation Policy:
If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that are made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival will receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee. Between (29) days and fifteen (15) days before arrival, guest will be refunded 50% of the reservation amount. (14) days or less to arrival, no refunds given.
For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date to receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee Cancellations made between thirty one (31) days in advance of your arrival and (59) days will receive a 50% refund.

Trip insurance is available for purchase and is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Great Durango Property!

I absolutely loved this property! The location offers a wonderful mountain-like feel, yet it’s just a quick 5-minute drive to the grocery store and town, nestled in a charming neighborhood. The space was incredibly clean, with comfortable beds and all the essential amenities provided. The air conditioning was a definite A, especially during those hot summer days.I would have given a full five stars, but I encountered an issue with the backyard. I had intended to bring my small doodle dog, but I ultimately decided to leave her at home—and I’m glad I did. While the backyard is fenced, it was overrun with knee-high weeds that weren't suitable for pets. The photo in the listing showed the yard during winter, with just a dusting of snow, so the current condition wasn’t obvious. I shared this feedback with the owners, hoping they will improve the space for future guests and their pets.Despite this drawback, I would definitely rent this property again and bring my dog, provided the backyard is landscaped. Overall, it truly deserves five stars!

Clean modern stay in a great neighborhood

Clean stay in a nice neighborhood. Wish there were chairs to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and fresh air but otherwise enjoyable. Middle island was great for playing board games with the extra stools in the garage.

Great house and location

We used the location as a base to visit Mesa Verde, Pagosa and Durango. Great location in a nice, quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for dog walking. Fenced yard. Parked in garage. Well appointed house and stocked with everything you need. Hosts were great.

Nice stay with family

Property is located in a great spot, close to downtown and trails. House is decorated well with comfortable beds and all necessary amenities. You can tell the couch has been used as some springs are popping up but normal wear and tear is expected at rental properties.

Fall Getaway

Great location, close to town! Very clean and incredibly well stocked. The management was very responsive to the one issue we had. We had our dogs with us and they even had supplies for them! Would stay here again.

Great stay!

House was clean and had everything we needed. Location is close to everything but out of the downtown traffic. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced yard, although a little back yard landscaping would go a long way to making this the perfect property. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we’re in the area.

Great house, convenient location

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! It’s clean, convenient and in a good location. It gets hot in the middle of the day in the summer as there is no AC but we were out most of the day so it wasn’t as big of a deal. Something to keep in mind if you’re visiting in July/August. Other than that, a great house overall with easy check-in/out process and the owner was very responsive.

Our stay

The house was very clean and well appointed. Our dog loved the backyard. The only issue we had during our stay was that the TV was hard to program. The Apple Remote was not programmed for the TV. The Amazon Firestick worked. Standard broadcast TV if we we did not subscribe to Netflix would not have been available. We did not realize that from your listing.

Comfortable and convenient
